Percents? You mean increase wounding/damage runes? I now have a full set of runes on my flails, but I tested it before I had all that on them. If I re-test it now, I'm going to compensate for the runes, of course.

I can't think of a scenario where that works out to be true unless you have some odd bug. An increase in precision is always an increase in wounds for me.

To the OP: Speed wounding is how you will beat people. It is possible to damage out bad and/or tiny people, but is that what you're after? Beating tiny/bad people?

Yeah, damage killing a level 80 faeling isn't hard, Ryannic. In fact, it's insanely easy.

You are correct that my higher precision does more wounds. I just find that the difference in my wounding is much less than the difference in my damage, and the speed difference is small enough for me to not care about DPS, I guess? I'll take 50-70 fewer wound points per hit to gain an almost 100% damage bonus.
Desitrus2008-11-18 22:17:56
I suppose it's the speed difference for me. Minimum precision with 210 speed versus near maximum precision with 270+ speed.

Yes, speed wounding is the way to go though elementals on hammers is also useful. The extra damage can be used to further throw off health apply. At least this is my theory on it and it works fairly well for me with 310 speed (I think?.. haven't been on in a while) pk hammers. You could try to forge some "godhammers" as Ceren calls them x/200-210/280 from the forge with runes and not worry about arties. Though this could take a while... Now back to my Call of Duty hole..

Hmm Call of Duty...whats your gammer tag? Il join you sometime, im not really doing much. Someday I might actually try to finish getting to dragon in achaea too....Nahh its 88% away, CoD4 is so much more satisfying...Shooting....Hmmm.....Oh hows CoD5 by the way? If you have it.

A 310 speed hammers..Shiza...What perc did you have on that thing? Im actually wondering who has or has had the best hammers? Or weapons on that fact?

The only people I know with really good weapons, or whatever where Murphy, thorgal, thoros vathael... Now what were they using and what were em stats?

Murphy and Thorgal had prenerfs, you won't be seeing that. Thoros has the standard 210/220 before runing or perhaps 200/230, some variance therein. Vathael uses higher damage, medium precision, and extra speed. I believe he runed his bashing hammers? Or similar. Your stat can only total 463, speed caps at 280 and minimum damage is 34 tempered, 33 if you manage the .0003% forge.

What was good about Murphys hammer/Thorgals whatever it was anyways? Because they where prenerfs could they get something like be artifacted and it take effect? I really don't get it.
Unknown2008-11-19 21:35:04
The weapons had higher stats, and were maybe non-decay? due to forging being different way back when, then it was changed, and they didn't get the weapons exchanged, so they ended up with weapons that were -very- good for our standards, which generally resulted in people crying about them being OP.

When forging, sometimes there are weapons that are just too good to temper down, so you shouldn't always aim for something that is rune-able.
Desitrus2008-11-19 21:39:38
Forge maxes were different, it's that simple. They could achieve stats 30-50 higher than what we can on weighted weapons.

Soo something like Murphys hammer what made them so good, sure I don't know much of forging but the stats I see of them doesnt seem that "good" to me...A little info on this? Give me the blissful knowladge of why the heck they where so OPed, I think they are runeable, if so are they still runeable??
Vathael2008-11-21 15:13:02
Murphy's hammers weren't extremely spectacular. They just had nice prec for hammers and they can be runed.

Damage: 34 Precision: 217 Speed: 212

Damage: 34 Precision: 224 Speed: 205

Max stats I could see these having for the general person would be about 64/247-254/242-235 which is fairly good. As BM, my wounding weapons were only x/250/200.

Looks like like you need to visit a Necromancer for that condition.
