it worked thanks!!
If that fixed your problem, then the error you posted had nothing at all to do with the problem you had. Likely a coincidence that something else also changed and that's what really fixed your original problem.

I think she edited that second part in later, and I didn't see it as I use the new posts thing. What Richard quoted is what I saw at first.

Nearly have this working in Linux, just have one error to figure out.
If anyone wants to help me figure out what the problem is, it would be much obliged.

If that's the error your getting, then I'd say you've done something to muck up the scripts. There is no such error in that file normally. Just the fact that you're loading the files from the MUSHclient directory instead of a wholly separate Treant directory tells me that you deviated from the recommended installation procedure.
Unknown2009-03-06 22:58:29
Note the "Linux" part. I can't exactly follow the original Treant installation instructions, considering I don't have working directories.
Unknown2009-03-07 00:51:02
I did note the Linux part. You don't have shortcuts, per se, but you do have symbolic links, shell scripts, or just changing to the "working" directory and running MUSHclient there.

Having problems with monks, warriors, or anything that has to do with stances/knives. I -think- it's auto stance because when I turn that off the problem seems to go away. Confused here.

Edit: I removed the line responsible and it seems to be normal now, but I can't tell.

You could try DEBUG ON to see what flags are being set/unset as you sip. If something is not firing properly, you'll be able to tell from the (tons of) debug output. Or send me the log of it happening with the debug, and I'll tell you why.

Yes, I have a debug line that got accidentally left in with 1.17. Removing the offending line should fix the problem up nicely. (What I should have done when I put that line in was to use tostring(self.to_stance) so it would print 'nil' when it was invalid, but in my testing it was never invalid and I didn't catch it until after the release.)
Issues with Nekotai triggers are fixed in 1.18, which I will release soon.

Am I seeing what I want to see, or is that 1.18 that I see?
Edit: OK, I checked the version history, this is 1.18. Did you forget to announce it or something?

he most likely -just- put it up and hasn't had much of a chance.
Unknown2009-03-08 23:35:19
Yes, I did upload 1.18. I didn't have time to announce it after I put it up there, as it's been a very busy weekend. So, consider this the announcement, I guess.

Is there a targeting thing built in?
Otherwise, how would I set one up?

There isn't and I think code and instructions for a targetting alias have been posted at least twice in this thread already.
Zarquan put instructions on how to do it here as well: http://larkin.dischai.googlepages.com/mush

One of two ways: purchase a support contract and I'll tell you or scan through the code to find which variables you need to set.
