I have a question. I 'finally' set up the right shortcut and all but. and the system runs fine, but every so often it bkreaks on something, and spams a run time error.

thing is I don't change anything, -everything- works fine, then suddenly something pops. then I uninstall treant and get the latest version and everything is fine.

do this "age break" as i call it, have anything to do with the updates for treant? blackeye.gif

Nope, but if you copy the error message and paste it here or on the MUSHclient forums, someone could likely help you fix it.

basically random things would just *break* .

I would do Tconfig skills and get spammed with some error message about guild input. I would do "OPEN WORLD- C:\\treant" and restart from there, do Tconfig skills and everything would be fine. I'd save and start from my save and i got spammed again.

I noticed it was things like, i'd get knocked prone and I would auto stand.

It's in C:\\treant this time, I made the short cut fine and I don't mess with it at all, i don't know why is breaks so randomly.

also I updated the 1.21 and but in the LUA, but my gui is not up. I keep forgeting alot when I have to restart everything. I do stat and score but nothing

That's still just a general description of the problem, though. The actual error messages tell you the exact problem, so it's very important you save them when it happens again (and again).

Imap wouldn't interfere with the system in any way, just launch mudbot, and connect through localhost port 123 (or whatever port you have mudbot configured for)

Ok, I just uploaded treant and everything was groovy except it set the font back to the ittybitty lucida console 9pt. I went to set the text to Courier New 12pt (which is easier on my eyes), and the system started throwing the error below:



Is there a way I can not have tiny text and use treant?

You've missed an important detail in the setup of Treant, and it has nothing to do with your choice of font (which is in no way tied to script execution). My guess is you're not using Lua.

And, for the record, Treant does not set your font unless maybe you used my template world to set things up, but then you wouldn't have this error you've just posted. rolleyes.gif

I just got on treant, it was working fine last night and now it does this. I didn't mess with it in any way. When I harvest it tries to do "Hpick" as some command

now I manually harvest and this is what i get

If it worked before, and it doesn't work now, you definitely did something to it. I have no idea what, of course.

I can swear to you on blood and honour i didn't mess with anything. This is the type of thing that happens every so often.
Should I just reinstall it?

I hope you don't think i don't appreciate the work you put into it. I just can't figure out why one day it's perfectly fine and the next it does that. I'm not brave enough to edit the triggers in any way

Whenever something goes wrong I just turn DEBUG ON, try out a few things, then send Zarquan the log. Though I don't understand any of it, he knows what it all means!

ok there is the problem. thats the debug thingy, I -just- reinstalled it

wish I could knew what is all means so I wouldn't have to keep posting it


EDIT: I fixed it myself, it has something to do with the aliases I made and uplaoded after I reinstalled it. don't know what happened but.....

Sure, but I'm not going to do that for you. It should be a fairly simple exercise to edit the herbs.lua script for using INB or both INR and INB depending on your inventory.
