I believe the springup issue is caused by a game bug... that was fixed. If you can send me a snippet (e-mail, preferably) of this happening, I can fix it up for you. Thanks. Glad you like the system. smile.gif

Right, feeling stupid. (Again.)

How does one go about installing a Treant update without wiping all of the custom-built aliases and triggers and whatnot?
Unknown2009-06-14 07:27:07
Assuming your aliases and triggers aren't somehow inside your Treant files, just follow instructions. Copy paste new files. /treant:Install(). If you just made normal aliases/triggers they'll be separate from Treant stuff.

By following the instructions that can be found on the site and in the Treant readme file.
Copy the new files over the old ones, then install Treant.
The only instance when you can loose your own settings is when you haven't set up Treant properly in the first place.

Or if you completely delete everything and do a full, clean reinstall... *shamefully raises his hand*

It's supposed to be in a teeny, scrollable code box! sad.gif

Furien, you just put that in CODE tags. Put it in CODEBOX tags instead. Works much better.
Unknown2009-06-17 14:24:35
Actually, that was codebox tags, I think. Either way, I'd still prefer to receive these things via e-mail and not see them posted here. In fact, I'll be ignoring bugs posted or PM'd from here on out.
Ilyarin2009-06-17 14:38:53
Uhm. Not sure what's happening here! I've been playing with dofree. 'dofree sit', fine. 'dofree laugh meleris', fine. 'dofree give rat to meleris', kills mushclient. :|

So, I got Treant because I heard that it came with an auto-harvester, but I can't get it to work. Is there anything I have to do besides TCONFIG SKILLS and AUTO HERBS ON?
Chade2009-06-28 22:57:40
You need to hit PLANTS to start it off, but unless you're transcendant its actually kinda pointless. I need to ask Iasmos how to move things on to the next herb at some point.
Unknown2009-06-29 04:25:26
If I can ask, how does the Treant's momentum tracker works?

Oh I do use Plants, but that only starts a counter. I don't do any actual automatic harvesting. But I figure I'll just have to look at the Herb script and see if I can't change it to suit my needs, though I was hoping that there was something obvious I've missed so I didn't have to do that.
Unknown2009-06-29 10:49:24
There likely is a configuration step you've missed. If you require help beyond the basics in the documentation (which should cover all this, truthfully), you may purchase a support contract and then e-mail me directly and I will help you work it all out.
Gleip2009-06-29 11:39:27
Hmm, do you mean I might've done something wrong during the installation? Since curing and such seems to work pretty well and I can't find any specific documentation on the harvester in the faq or install files.

Anyway, I'm sure to figure it out somehow.
Unknown2009-06-29 11:43:03
You probably did something wrong during the installation. Did you TCONFIG SKILLS? Maybe that's why.
Gleip2009-06-29 11:48:05
Yeah I did. It does everything except the actual automatic harvesting.
Razenth2009-06-29 17:28:05
If you're not a warrior, did you config the prompt to show left and right arm balances?
Gleip2009-06-29 21:51:30
Ah, I don't have to do that. But I have to configure it for my psionics. Thanks.

Treant has a momentum tracker? ohmy.gif

Also, Auto Pipes doesn't seem to function properly. I'll PM you a log.
