Are you in the arena? Treant thinks your puffs go down and when it reaches zero it'll try to refill it, but it doesn't have a failsafe for when it is already filled, so you have to do pipelist.

Oops, finally found the answer to the last person who asked about turning focus mind off. Are new support contracts still being sold, or just old ones being honoured?

Does treant handle protection scrolls too? I don't have ML so if it does, what are the variable names?

I don't think it auto-reads protection, since it takes EQ.

To be fair, new contracts are not being sold any more, just old ones honored until they expire.

And, the reason the puffs/arena bug happens is usually because of a Wargames or FFA, when the arena flag doesn't get set automatically.

As I understand it, Treant doesn't have Harmonics and Transmology triggers. I think I could take the time to do a few duels here and there and see if I can gather up some trigger lines. I'm no coder, but I can try following the pattern in the XML files

Just need to find a user for each ability who would have the patience to perform each skill on me and outline the basic afflictions given. *shrug*

It's going to be missing those skills for-ever at this point as I understand it. He's not doing updates.

Not 100% accurate, though I understand the misconception given the circumstances. I have said that I would incorporate additions and minor updates sent to me by others. I'm just not doing them myself.

Eh? I know that. I'm offering to help fix that if I can. Just need help gathering the trigger lines and effects. Not a coder, but it shouldn't be TOO hard.

I'll see who I can bugger ingame about it, but I don't know many people outside of Serenwilde. I'd appreciate if there were people who were willing to jump into the arena with me and let me collect those lines and maybe answer any questions I might have regarding their mechanics.

Heck, if you don't mind, Iasmos, maybe we can even turn this into a community project or something? There's a possibility.

If someone wants to re-post the source code on SourceForge or something like it, they're welcome to give it a go. My experience with such projects in the past has been less than stellar, as many people promise to help and contribute little to nothing.

Is Treant no longer available at all?

It's available, and new triggers will be added if people provide them, it's just not being upgraded or otherwise maintained.

So where is it available? The download link at the front page leads to a site I don't have access to.

I had a bad few days, and I took it down. I put it back up again, though I'm still unsure what form it will take in the future. It might just be a download link and nothing more.

Let it be as is, put a big discontinued warning somewhere visible, and warn people it is to use at their own risk and that they can't bother you with questions if you don't want that? Just a suggestion, really, but it is what I'd do if I were you.

Being pestered is the small part of it. Making it readily available to people I might not want to have it is the other part of it. At least, I know they're getting a free, semi-broken system from me.
