I remember in the X-men game when Jean died and switched alignments and became the pheonix. That was in her role.
Er, no it wasn't.
All it said was that I changed to Pheonix, nothing about alignment change. All it really implied was a power change, as I had none besides a come back to life free card. The alignment change was something Rika brought up after death.
Arix2008-12-12 19:53:39
Celina's right. In all likelihood, Daganev is just trying to bluff us.

Nah, I don't think it really works like that. You don't get to just say "oh uh..I'm not on a team anymore!" and skip away merrily. The fact that 1) he was on the train to lynchville and 2) he was with a team that was being heavily targeted means he will be saying whatever he has to so he can survive. Considering his role has been posted, he can't plausibly deny who he is, so he made up this "my alignment changed" defense.
It's a little odd that you are falling for his unsubstantiated claim so easily especially considering the previous evidence.

See, you don't -think- it works like that, your opinion on the matter.
I'm not 'falling for it', if I was, I would be voting Bali again, no? I'm just trying to say that it's his word against Silvanus', unless the person who res'd him would care to share thier ability with us, which they most likely wouldn't for fear of being lynched.
If that was in her role, why can't it be in someone else's power?

Hrm...bad memory on my part.

Because people don't become Rogues when being rezzed.
They either stay on the same team or become a member of a Cult.
Morhgor2008-12-12 19:59:20
Okay, your all missing my arguement here, but anyway.
If it is a bluff, what's the point in killing him again, if someone will just Res him right after?

When asked before how many people you could raise, you said it was unlimited....
Now are you saying that to raise somone you must sacrifice yourself? Because if you are, that's really just a one shot power.

Maybe that's what's going on? He did throw the word cult around a lot in that other post. Whatever it is, I don't buy it. I don't get why being rezzed would make someone a Rogue, and even if it did, I don't buy the logic that Rogues = Town.
Arix2008-12-12 20:00:26
since we seem to have more than one rezzer, logic suggests that that one of them will be limited in some way
Silvanus2008-12-12 20:01:16
I'd rather someone waste a rez on him again then use some other ability.
Also, who do you suggest we lynch?
Three, it gives us another night, but of course we can't find any allies because Daganev's stops us from using our A skills.

Now you are just being thick, from everybody's Roles:
Block - At the cost of not being able to use Clone or Scrow Funk, you may use BLOCK at night which will give you a 50% chance to survive through a Night Kill. (This one is Archer's role).

Rogue is a term we made up. Its not a term that Myrkr has given us.
Myrkr has told everyone in the town, that they win by surviving. We have decided to call these people rogues.
I am guessing, that we were told this, so that the various cults (teams/gangs?) could have an easier time pulling the wool over our eyes, and trying to get us to go along with whatever win condition they have.
Silvanus, why would myrkr tell you that your rez skill switches the alignment of the person you rez? It would become a pointless skill, and you would never use it. (unless maybe it was a rogue/town/survivor who rezzed me maybe)
Morhgor2008-12-12 20:06:08
Wait a nil, if Daganev has been dead all this time... Then why is he only just now getting Res'd?
Arix2008-12-12 20:06:08
Basicly, what Daganev did was make everyone vulnerable to nightkills, I say we lynch his ass
Arix2008-12-12 20:07:23
Never mind, I was thinking of B skills. My role message went all funky for some reason

and yes, ofcourse everyone on Mario's team is going to try to get me lynched. But that was going to happen even if I didn't fire the arrow.
I say we lynch someone from mario's team who we know has been able to talk to someone else at night, so that they have to refind eachother the next day. Obviously there was nothing in my role which said as much, but based on the only logical way that this game makes any sense, and isn't just an instawin for the mario team, I say we try to prevent the various teams from being able to "find eachother" and complete their cult.

Yes, it did. Why does that make me a lynch target?
And to your earlier point, we understand that you are trying to say "it's word vs word" but it's not. It's word vs doubtful and suspicious word who's trying to save his behind.
And you heard Daganev, he wants to kill the teams. So, vote Daganev on Smithy's team!
