Powerplex Gems are great an all... but I had an idea for them...

As it stands now, once you are at 125% power, the gems do not do much. Meaning the average person will really only ever need 2 if they want to stay ahead of average daily power usage when combined with a ration. (Yes I know some classes consume far more then what the average ration +10% produces)

What I could like to see is possibly if you possess three or more powerplex jewels, you can 'merge jewels' and it will create a mini nexus. Only you can link from it, and it will get power simply through, if you are at 125% power, at the end of each month, instead of power going into your reserves, the excess will go into your 'nexus.' Thus if you end up using a lot of power one day, instead of tapping a nexus, you can tap your own artifact first.

Linking to a powerplex nexus would still not allow you to link past 100%

That's a neat idea, I wouldn't mind getting a few more powerplex jewels then, start my own city, hire a few guilds.

This sounds like a great thing for someone to try to research ingame!

Perhaps, Callia does have a history of sticking her nose into the science of the 'power' but not since she was moondancer... maybe she should take up her old studies... rebuild her lab on her ship.

Merge power nexus', for each extra 'plex-nexus added, you can link an extra person to it!

...now we just need a way to buy (more) guild skills...
