The trailer gave me shivers, and I was like :0. I've loved Star Trek, but only really kept up with Next Generation and Voyager, and until now, considered Kirk & Co to be somewhat stiff. But this re-vamp makes me rethink that. Hopefully the movie will be just as awesome as the trailer makes it out to be!

To everyone else, without Jonathon Frakes being involved, this movie has a chance of actually feeling like Star Trek, and not Sci-Fi beat with a clown stick...

Sorry, after the fish scene in Insurrection, I gave up on the ST franchise but this has hope of rekindling it... although I'd prefer something post Original, pre TNG because I thought the Movie uniforms were awesome and they did good things for the right types of bodies for both females and dudes....

Hey Noola, come to San Diego... you can see it with my husband (as he will be by the barring my Uncle not getting detained for suspicion of espionage again) and our gaggle of peoples who are dressing up because we don't feel just going to first showing is geeky enough.

Oh Kirk is sooooo dreamy. And Spock so passionate yet firm! But how will they manage everyday life balanced with Starfleet and various aliens???

I've changed my assessment. It's no longer Dawson's Creek, it's more like Smallville with Uwe Boll.
