Silly Shiri, not seeing that Silferras was cop!
Unvote. Sadhyra's character is an assassin and could well be a SK, but until we have people dying, I don't think we should go after her yet. HOWEVER! I'm pretty sure if you aren't allowed to reveal anything about your role, you wouldn't be allowed to reveal that part of it, either...

Hm. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Gordon can avoid death once, or maybe even fake it for a day or two.
As for the cops though, I'm curious--our first cop had an ability that allowed him to investigate people. What exactly would the point of that be do we think? We didn't see a mention of them going after a certain person in particular or anything, which makes me wonder what they could possibly be investigating for.

Nevermind, I guess they'd just be looking for Doctor's and stuff. But it seems strange that its apparently a one or the other power, so either the cops kill someone, or they each get another power to use? Hm.

On the Mason front, Xikue, I'm still not sure where you're getting this other mason group. The only other people we know can talk at night were cops. As for my role, I can only echo what Shaddus has already revealed. Either you're misinformed, or you're grasping at straws. Also, can I assume that all instances of Xiran in the last couple of pages actually refer to Xikue? With Shiri's discovery, added to your questionable accusations, I'm going to Vote: Xikue
Furien2009-01-31 22:13:42
I suppose my earlier wording of 'villain' might have been off. My role seems more villain-ish than it does 'I'm a petty 60's robber baron', but if you can't understand the rest of it, it's your own fault.

I am not misinformed.
And yes, Xiran == Xikue.

Mhm. Also, my associate stalked Shaddus last night and saw him speaking with someone they could not identify.

This would be in regards to the other mason group. Except this other mason group seems to have abilities.

Helpful.
I'm assuming you either are, or would like us to think you are, some sort of investigator. Either way, more than one non-scum group who can talk to each other isn't a particularly long leap of logic, especially in a large game with such unusual things as plasmids and pages from a a death note.
Unknown2009-01-31 22:49:25
With a game of this size, we already said more than one scum group was likely. I'm not objecting with you there.
I have answered questions regarding myself to the best of my abilities. I think there is enough information from previous posts to show that I am not working with the feds.

I think it might be better to just focus on finding the cops first, it's a waste to try and figure out if there are multiple scum groups right now until there is some evidence of that. And so far, there isn't. We had one disappearance last night, which means we know of one scum group. And we've already hit one scum. So let's just keep going in that direction rather than offing a possible ally, shall we?
Every townie we keep alive is a full extra day we have to figure things out, that's just how it works, so anything that limits us offing someone who know is at least some sort of crook is very very much to our benefit right now.

Heheheheh. Hohohoho. Hahahah.
Heheh. Heh.
Heheh. Heh.

Sorry. It's just... this has been very fun. Half of us can't reveal anything about our role, and the other half can apparently only reveal if they are from a game or comic or something. I'll try to contribute a little more, but I need to reread everything and focus my thoughts. Expect something a bit more tangible from me in a moment.
Unknown2009-01-31 23:08:24
Heh. Casilu must be having the most fun.

Um.. I'm going to guess that Kiradawea is implying that she's Joker?

Okay. Let me take it from the beginning.
S.A.W you wanted to vote for me in the beginning. While Shiri offered some reasoning for that, let me elaborate that I didn't post anything of merit because it was late, I was tired and really didn't have anything to add at this point of time. I did hang around to try and pick up any new clues that I could think about while I sleep.
While Shaddus claims are a bit random and seemingly erratic, I believe him. He was seen speaking with someone right, which makes it pretty likely that yes he's a mason with Yt. If nothing else, it at least makes him honest.
Regarding the Death Note, I think that Shiri should hand it over to someone he trusts, even if it means handing it back to Rika.
Which brings up another question. Shiri said that he'll only die if he uses the notebook after he is killed. Doesn't that mean that he could've used the notebook and then given it back to Rika and made Rika write in it instead, thus preventing the following death? Of course, I realize this is a little late, but I haven't been able to post earlier. I've been working on the Bardic submission.
Can't think of anything else at the moment, but I think it's great to see how much activity there is now. I'll try to be far more helpful, but that's the best I can do right now.
I will probably be looking around a bit more tonight before I finally come to sleep, but unless I figure out something important I don't think I'll post more tonight.

I could indeed likely have given Rika the book and asked her to write in it but as she can't reveal anything about her role I have no idea whether it's worth more than mine or not, and it seems safer to sacrifice myself than have her die (especially since I already recommended she be protected.)
SAW: my guess would be that it's like in that one heroes game of Xavius' where the killer in the scum rotated and the other two could use their power as per normal.
Also what "gordon" are we talking about, Gordon Freeman or something? Flash Gordon? Seems like I might have missed a post but I can't see it...

Where exactly is John McClain from? Google and Wikipedia aren't throwing up anything that seems likely. Was Casilu just making puns out of the names of recent presidential candidates? Seems a bit incongruous, given the sources of the other names.
Casilu2009-02-01 09:51:52
I spelled it wrong. Try McClane.
