Okay,

I'm looking for a Good combat system that isn't God-awful expensive. I'll also need support and someone who plans on playing for a while with regular updates. As I currently only use zmud the system would need to be for zmud. I know I mentioned it already but just to reiterate I SUCK AT CODING so I will need support. Also i'll probably need someone to customize it for me with a few personal OMG I need em things.

Please pm or even respond here with what you've got and how much and if it works for me i'll respond.

Your options for ZMUD are pretty limited.

Palisade (way out of date)
Nezha's (way out of date)
Talkan's (I don't know anything about his system).

If you want to switch clients. You can go with Catarin's on CMUD or Treant on MUSH (Mush is free).

Treant is what i would suggest. Since you can't code as it is, the switch to MUSH won't be a big deal.


edit: If you stick with ZMUD be warned that Palisade will probably get you killed if you try to PK. It's oooooold.

Palisade will be fine for a while, then a monk will turn up and it'll go OMFGNOOOOO.

I tried using Mushclient a while ago when I got Ethelons system, we're talking two years ago? give or take. In anycase, I dunno it never felt comfortable and at the time I was using it, if ethelon wasn't on and I had a problem I was screwed cause no one knew anything about it.

I dunno, zmud's been comfortable for me. Cmud seemed to run extremely slow during regular events not even combat.

Plenty of people still use zMUD, just not too many of us system creators use it now. If you have questions about MUSHclient, though, there are many ways to get answers fairly quickly: these forums, the MUSHclient forums (where even the author himself gives great replies), tutorial sites (which I'm still working on, but it's better than nothing), e-mailing me or someone else who knows what's what...

I switched to MUSH a few months ago, took me a while to get used to it (and I still am) but it runs so much faster and as Zarquan said there's a lot of people that know about it now.
