I don't think we can expect to really play. They are doing a stress test and it looks like the server is stressed.

It can't be good publicity for them to send out 10,000 keys for a beta test that fails before it even starts :/

Getting in and playing are two separate issues.

You should actually be able to launch the game with some patience. If you can't, they're going to want to know more about your system setup. There're directions for that on their forums.

Gregori, sounds like Saturday is the day to log on and actually play. They are doing a stress test, need a bunch of people, so they threw the beta keys off the top of the proverbial roof. Probably not the best way publicity wise but they needed to do something.

I played a bit, full on rubberbanding.

Then go tell the devs about it. I don't care. They do.

I am aware they are doing a stress test. However, the issues with not being able to load the game beyond the character creation section were pre- "stress test" time. This has been an ongoing issue since the server came up today and is still going through the "stress testing" portion. The forum thread about the issue has people who have been beta testing all along as well as new people all reporting this issue from the moment the server went live for beta testing today.


I am not asking if anyone knows why you can't get in. I am asking if anyone has managed to get in period. The fact that nobody I know of, and numerous people who actually have reported it officialy, has managed to get passed the load screen seems to mean that there is very little stress testing going on because nobody can play.

Aye, finally logged in, but the interfaces are wonky for me. Any boxes that open only flash briefly, then vanish relogging to see if that corrects it.
