Alright, with the bombardment of christmas programming on television, what are some of your favorite shows or movies to watch during this season? Scrolling through the list of channels on Direct TV last night, I must admit I picked out Die Hard(it counts because it takes place on Christmas tongue.gif) as the ultimate christmas viewing opportunity.

Post your suffering.

Most of the Christmas movies I like are specials...

Such as A Charlie Brown Christmas, all the Rankin-Bass specials, etc.

There are tons of "A Christmas Carol" adaptations and permutations. One I'd wish they'd play on TV is "An American Christmas Carol". I liked the recent one with Patrick Stewart.

I must admit to liking "Bad Santa" a lot!

White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life both appeal to me, but I was never into them as a kid. And I never really saw "A Christmas Story" as a classic.

Die Hard is too obvious. My traditional one was The Long Kiss Goodnight but we skipped it this year in favor of Wanted. (Yes, it does have a tiny little Christmas reference in it, which is good enough when a movie rocks as hard as Wanted does, in hi-def on a 62" HDTV...)
