Alrighty. I got bored. Like, REALLY bored, and made a D&D 3.5 weapon from scratch. This is what I came up with,
Made using the DMG and Magic Item Compendium.
Anyone else wanna make a weapon? Can be for any game, just needs to follow that game's rules for weapons
QUOTE ("+5 Holy Keening Grandsword of Force and Flame")
Hilt is meant to be grasped in two hands by a medium creature. Base weapon 2d6 slashing plus 1.5X str mod for being two handed, crit range of 19-20 (17-20 after Keening)
+5 from enchantments, Keening, and 1d6 fire, 1d4 force, 2d6 holy vs undead, and an effect called calling, which makes it appear in his hands with a command word as a Standard action.
Augment crystal (the garnet) grants an additional 1d6 fire damage, and 1d6 fire damage on the following turn.
All said and done, this thing deals a minimum of 10 damage, 12 to undead plus (str mod * 1.5) with a minimum of 1 next turn, and a maximum of 50, 62 to undead, plus (str mod * 3) on a critical hit, and 6 the next turn.

Never played DND. I think it would be fun, and there are people that want me to join, but something just stops me.

I can get you a link to the 3.5 Open Gaming License stuff. In the hands of a competent storyteller DM, 3.5 is awesome.

I know some people in my area that play DND(The people that keep trying to get me to play it), They've offered to teach me how. I've just never been comfortable with it for some reason.

Why, is it too nerdy for you?
You play a text-based game for crying out loud... you really don't get much nerdier than that.
I can't design weapons, because I am bad at DnD. I play 2nd edition though. Tried 3.5 and 4 as well, but I like 2nd.

I saw that hamster thing a long time ago too.. Don't remember where anymore.... EGM's Hsu and Chan maybe? Seems to be the same style.

Oh, I'm fine with the nerdiness of it, it just never caught my attention. It just seems awkward and un-fun. I do like reading sourcebooks though. They're like giant game manuals.
Plus I'm not really down with the fact that I have to actually meet up with people to play it. Bleh, makes it hard for me to be a hermit.
I love Game Manuals.
