It does seem weird that this thread has appeared, just for an election... if I was a low-level Gloom I would probably have my decision influenced by the comments here in lieu of actually knowing the candidates well.
Wouldn't it be better to comment on the drama that unfolds due to the results of the election? And why is this necessarily dramatic, surely most orgs occasionally switch leaders, right?

Yeah, well, a lot of stuff folks call 'dramadoring' I don't get as all that upsetting or dramatic really. I think people make more out of stuff goin on in Glomdoring than the stuff warrants. I think people just like the idea of Glomdoring being all dramatic and emo that they try to create drama and emoness where, really, it's just common stuff. Like elections.
That said, I always think it's funny when folks are all, "Now that there's a thread, no one will discuss anything in the game!" The majority of players don't even come to the message boards and of the ones that do, most of em will be discussing it in game. There might be a few who don't, but those folks prolly wouldn't have anyway, cause if a little thing like a thread in an OOC forum is gonna stop you from RPing, you prolly don't care that much about RP anyway.

Don't get yourself tied up in a knot.
Not sayin', just sayin'.

I don't understand the urge to close this topic down because it relates to something happening in the game. Isn't the whole point of the forums to be able to discuss in game issues in a completely OOC inflection?
I like to hear what players think, sometimes, as opposed to what their characters think. I know my characters sometimes think differently than I do.

Things are popping up here that should be IC, so as promised I'm closing. I'll reopen when the drama is over, and you can have a post drama autopsy.
