People that make out and ride up on eachother in public. Quadruple the peeve if they make disgusting smacking sounds and moaning while doing it. My father and stepmother are guilty of this, it DISGUSTS me.

I dunno if all Singaporeans do it or not, but I do. Maybe its a Singlish thing. You know, the most direct way to say it. Its gassy, its a drink, so its a gassy drink. Not particularly elegant, but it works.

Fizzy drinks I'd call them too... My Canadian cousin calls them pop too and it confuses me every time. What, pop music? Pop, as in the sound? Pop, as in lollipop?

Well, it's not like it's a bad way of talking about it on its own merits, but in normal casual conversation "gassy" refers to farting in a roundabout sort of way.
