I was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of a working mudbot/mapper for Lusternia. There's so many versions out there that I'm not sure which I'm meant to use.

Okay. I tried using that, but after I did LMAP CREATE NEWROOM and tried to LOOK, it just wouldn't recognise the room name as being a room name so the map never updated. Any ideas?

I can't remember the exact commands, but chances are it's configured to use a different colour for roomnames. It might be in the config file, or it might be under lmap config, not sure.

Ahhh! It's actually LMAP COLOR. I thought it would have been set to the default. Thanks!

Edit: Ok. Another question. asked a friend who said a room has things missing when it has a "!". I have done both look and survey in the rooms with all exits connected, but they still seem to be incomplete. Any ideas?

area check should list all problems with rooms in the area.

You may need to define the environment stuff. It should give instructions when it finds an environment it doesn't recognize on survey.

EDIT: it's room types.

Nope, I already surveyed. When I do LMAP, the rooms will have "l" and "s" down the bottom right as well as an asterisk.

The default room color in the game is brown (dark yellow), and that should be what LMTS uses as its default, too.

Rooms shouldn't have the ! after you've mapped all surrounding rooms and checked SURVEY to get the terrain type. I've been using it so long, though, that there might be some configuration thing I'm forgetting.

Red ! means missing an exit (ie the room has an exit you haveb't either marked locked or linked to a room) and yellow ! means it doesn't know what terriain type is in that room, ie you didn't type survey.
