So, I had an oddly Lusternian-themed dream last night. And it wasn't just scrolling text! It was rather dynamic.
Jonas, Amatsemaru, Aison, Mihewi, Somaria, Thoros, Shurimaru, and a handful of the Gods were all hanging around in a ski lodge (they were like modern versions of their actual selves - what they would look like if they lived in Earth, today, rather than the Basin at whatevertime Lusternia is.), apparently on vacation or something. I'm kind of fuzzy on the details. The Gods that I know were there were Nocht and Charune (you'll see why this is important later). I think Fain was there too.
Anyway, the players did something to piss the Gods off, at sunset, so they were all, ":censor: you, we're mad now, and you're going to pay for it." So we all spent a very frightened night in that puny little lodge, feeling utterly abandoned by our Gods, being battered mercilessly by a fierce snowstorm. Just when it seemed to die down, another gust of wind, or wave of snow, or something, would make it seem as though the lodge was about to collapse again. This part was a bit of a nightmare. I remember Jonas, Aison, Shurimaru, and Amatsemaru all huddled in front of the dying fire, while Som, Thoros, and Mihewi were looking out the window at the fury of nature. We all got together and started praying for the storm to end, and then ended up falling asleep just because our nerves were so frayed thin.
When the morning came, Jonas (who was me) was up first, and the snowstorm had died, leaving about 3 inches of snow (an impossibly low amount.). The thing that was really cool was that the Gods had left signs that all was forgiven and that They were still there. The only two I remember were Nocht's and Charune's.
Nocht's presence was shown by the stars still being in the sky even though it was sunup, and Charune's was a stag made from woven tree branches that had naturally grown there...well, as natural as this kind of thing gets. Not sure about Fain. I remember something about a rabbit that had died, presumably in the storm. Maybe that was it. :/
And that's my dream. Or, it was.

You dreamt about me.
Unknown2009-01-30 21:33:12
I'm mad, I wasn't included. We are no longer friends, Jonas.
Aison2009-01-30 21:39:08
Trippy.

I had a dream where I got left behind for a trip somewhere, but it was okay, cause I had this idea that I could use the abilities my character did. So I was madly trying to find a computer that I could log onto Lusternia with, because I forget which one of my skills would let me teleport to a specific spot. And this was like, a year and a half after I stopped playing.

Frighteningly, I regularly dream, in text, about Lusternia. There's a few occasions where Aison or someone will say something on OT and I'm sort of like, 'didn't we discuss this yesterday?'

About a month ago, while the previous commune leader election was happening in Glomdoring (the one before this past one), I had a dream where Ried (seen through my eyes) was elected as Dark Marshall... as a Serenwilder.
It was awesome.
It was awesome.
Somaria2009-01-31 18:30:53
Was I hot?
Jonas2009-02-02 16:54:54
You weren't in it, Somaria was.
Since I was seeing things through Jonas' eyes, most of the dream (as far as other people go) is legs and thighs. Except when we were all huddled around the window; then we were able to see the reflections of ourselves against the falling snow. Super cool.

I had a dream with a zombie fish version of one of my old teachers pointing at the chalk board from my physics class from high school and going on about planar physics and something called "Ladantine's Constant". There was lots of math.

Coincidentally, I had a Lusternian dream too, but it was strangely both in text and not.
I dreamt that a new desert island opened, and somehow, Glomdoring managed to colonise the entire island. We had to slowly chip away at pyramids, and this part was in text, so we had to CHIP PYRAMID WITH CHISEL, and we'll get a message saying something like 'A small piece of rock falls off. Try some more.' Then after hundreds of attempts, we finally bring one down, only to find out that there are a few more. We groan and moan, but somehow manage to bring down all except one, which was somehow immune. Then, reverting back to 3D, we raised some objects in place of the pyramids. My memory is fuzzy on what exactly did we raise, but it was awesome. Synl was there in this dark hooded robes, all mysterious and Assassin Creed-ish, arms folded into the sleeves of this robes, with his hood down so all you can see are shadows and a little bit of his mouth. He said something, then out of nowhere, Thoros glided in. Yea, no idea why he's a monk in my dream. And apparently he joined Glomdoring as well, because we managed to be badass enough to take this island. And then I woke up.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that for the first part, the one before the text-based one, was in 2D, where it was of this map of the island, and Glomdorians (can't remember if it was represented by purple or not) sweeping across the island, with tiny Serenwilde/Celest/Magnagora forces (or maybe all, they were too small to figure which org it was) being pushed out.

Maybe your mind makes the link between them both being OP?

Very rarely do I dream anything in text. Even if I read a book. The characters are usually how I envision them while I'm reading. I envision people more by their actions than their physical descriptions. I don't remember any specific dreams, though.
Lendren2009-05-25 14:02:20
Last night I dreamed that Lendren was asked to lead a group of Mayflowers to visit Lady Maylea's secret solitude retreat in Manhattan. It was a little beach house on the Hudson River, and somehow it was in an area that was relatively quiet -- you could see and hear the city, but it wasn't a constant stream of traffic, and there weren't any piers nearby. The house was very tastefully decorated with a lot of modern art (mostly modern abstract and expressionist stuff), and very trendy fixtures and furniture, just like you'd expect a very well-to-do artistic type to have in Manhattan. It wasn't very big by normal people standards, but by Manhattan standards it was huge.
Lady Maylea showed up during the "tour" (she was surprisingly short, and was wearing perfectly normal American modern clothes at first, she changed into a sari later) but she wasn't very pleased to see the Mayflower group there. She was perfectly polite and charming, but also uncomfortable; it was clear she needed a little time to herself and while she remembered she'd invited us to visit and was honoring that offer, it just wasn't a very good time for her. So I, as quickly as I could, shuffled everyone off with a promise we'd come back some other time, and while she protested that no, it was fine, we could finish the tour, she was also grateful, you could see it in her eyes.
I wanted to go back and ask her what was wrong; I was worried about her and thought she needed to talk to someone. But I also didn't think that I was the right person for the job, and she might prefer if I just left. I was kind of torn in indecision about it, so I tried to hint to her that if she needed someone to talk to, I'd be nearby, but she was non-commital. I had to couch it in an offer to rewrite the room descriptions for the beach house if anything about them wasn't just as she wanted (I guess I had written them originally?), but she was too distracted by whatever was bothering her to pay any attention.

I had a weird one recently, I was hunting and, for some reason, I just kept on dying to stuff I really shouldn't be, Krokani, starsuckers, leeches, even bloody RATS!

I had one ages ago wherein Lusternian characters took on the roles of Star Wars characters. I remember Visaeris was Darth Vader and I was Boba Fett. I think Shiri was an ewok.
EDIT: Actually, I think I was Han Solo and Guido was Chewbacca... I should probably start a dream diary.
