Also: Someone pointed out to me that Narsrim never recovered eq in his little log. As in, Narsrim was straight spamming disruption scroll and not waiting for eq. You can see the "you have not recovered eq" message a few times, and for whatever reason, you can spam attacks off eq and though the attack doesn't actually go through...it can be blocked which, from the looks of it, stacks eq loss. I'm thinking bug.

In essence, Narsrim spammed himself to death.

By "someone," do you mean "Post #16 and many others after it in this very thread that I'm responding to"? suspicious.gif

I think it's already been pretty firmly established that it happened and appears to be a bug.

Could have been Someone Powerful.

casilu does not have pierced spine
Unknown2009-02-03 02:14:46
She meant the kumaki mod, which gives paralysis by apparently jabbing the spine.
Casilu certainly doesn't have sever spine though. That ridiculousness is tahteso/nekotai only, or axelord except then you'd have to work for it.

blah blah blah...Xiel (who had previously killed my illusory self with his 1k+ passives that only SS are allowed to have because in the hands of Cacophony or Cantors, it's just OP lolol)...

Yeah, no. It's been nice ignoring those who like to make assumptions, but I might as well save myself future hassle with this and those others who still might have reservations about Wildarrane:

Testing AncientFeud's cold based damage with my song as a demigod omnitrans Wild Elfen maxed stat Spiritsinger with a +15% damage rune in comparison to Lekius' level 87 Wild Elfen non-maxed stat, non-artied song, the following has been shown:

Against Vathael as a Krokani demigod Moon Serenguard with Drawdown:
Vathael's health stands at 9490/9490.
My test - 842
Lekius - 604

Against Sarrasri as a Lucidian ascendant Moondancer with Drawdown:
Sarrasri's health stands at 7564/7564.
My test - 616
Lekius - 444

Against Alys as a High Elfen level 76 Moondancer with no Drawdown:
Alys's health stands at 4068/4068.
My test - 514
Lekius - 365

Against Jurgo as a level 83 Kepheran Shofangi with a cold weakness:
Jurgo's health stands at 4812/4812.
My test - 1125
Lekius - 811

The damage not only scales, as you can see, but the only instance whereupon I even come to 1k+ damage is on someone with a cold weakness. As an undead, human Titan Cacophonist with Glamours and an IllusorySelf up, the only possible way I can think of to have my passive damage kill your, let's say 13,000 health IllusorySelf? Was if you just stood there doing nothing for three minutes.

There we go. Now that that is off of my chest, feel free to pull out more random numbers though.
Shiri2009-02-03 02:19:31
Aha...that should have been obvious, I've answered the same comments before. doh.gif

Although this does go to show there is probably a bug with how damage is calculated considering racial weaknesses. Jurgo and Alys have a health difference of under 1000 health. However, the damage difference is 600. How the hell is that 10% from a level 1 racial weakness?

Or your log is messed up.

Just got flat calculations from them, so I don't think so. If we found a bug with racial weaknesses due to this, then yay. Maybe that's why Merians and the other folk are all hurting so much? ohmy.gif

Take into consideration skills learned such as magic? Proofs? Damage reduction abilities?
Narsrim2009-02-03 03:02:43
I've noticed this before as well. I recall being able to 2-shot illithoid Revan as a Cantor. It just made no sense because people with less health and no penalty could tank forever.

The Spirtsinger damage song is 100% cold. Proofs might come into play, but Moondancers get no special cold protection sans Drawdown (which wasn't up).

EDIT:

Let's assume Alys had a proof and Jurgo didn't. That should make for a 20% difference. That still in no shape or form explains why Jurgo is taking over double damage.

EDIT #2:

In fact, let's assume Alys had a truefavor, Drawdown, frost potion, and a proof. Jurgo had nothing but a 10% weakness.

That STILL doesn't explain over double damage.
Shiri2009-02-03 03:07:04
An SF or above is 15% or so outside of DMP, so that might account for some of it. The health difference looks like it should be accounting for roughly 100.
