The Celestines guildhall is the Celestial Abbey, and it's constructed mostly of white marble behind the Deep Blue Cathedral in Celest. Entrance requires ability to handle the cosmic energies and to be one accepted by the Light. One must handle a cosmic star to enter the door.

The inside is small, but vast, with special murals, hidden rooms, and other tricks and treats the guildmembers are urged to pursue. Where we lack in size we make up for in treats!

That was my idea! (Both the general outline and the limiting of novices. :>)

Err, I don't think it is called the Shadowdance Tower.
The Black Tower?

No where near. Try again.

Well, if you wanna be all exact about it, "The Halls of Conquering Darkness" laugh.gif
Diamondais2009-02-05 15:50:32
The Hartstone one is the Sacred Grove, the Hartstone Grove name is just the entrance room. sad.gif

Darn, that means there's a Noola alt in Shadowdancers. I must go find her!

@Everiine I assume that this information is strictly OOC though. The secrecy and mystery is as much a part of the guildhall of the Shadowdancers as the physical rooms. As a Serenwilder, you'd never be able to find out its name, let alone its location and details. So, um, if you were writing a book IG, please do not mysteriously figure out the name or identity of the Shadowdancers guildhall?

"Never" is a bit strong. If I moved to Seren, I could give them both the location and the key-phrase (though it would do them as much good as it does to me-- none). And any Shadowdancer who has moved to Seren could conceivably remember it.

It is possible for him to figure it out IC, but you're right that he should try to figure it out IC before using the name in an IC book (if that's the intention).

Whoops, you're right, I forgot that people do org-hop. Still, it'll be really hard for him to get it out of anyone.

I'm not really looking for what they look like on the inside, it's mostly the outside I"m concerned with. They won't be named either, the mentions of the guildhalls in the book will be coming from an outside source, and is used to identify the people in them. I figured this would come up, so don't worry-- I have a bank of knowledge that is kept strictly OOC. I've got a cousin who plays in Glomdoring and we talk all the time about stuff, but it all stays out of the game. He's still trying to find a way to get our characters to have an IC chess match...

Oh, in that case, even Caerulo have no idea how their guildhall looks like from the outside. Then again, I think there is no outside for the Shadowdancer's guildhall.

The Halls are underground, so yes, no outside. As the name suggests - Conquering Darkness - it's dark inside. Obviously. smile.gif

Celestines - Inside Deep Blue Cathedral
Aquamancers - Magic pentagram teleports to a building in (under?) Celest.
Paladins - Ageis Keep in Celest? I forget the name. It's a fort
Cantors - No idea.
Tahtetso - No idea.

Nihilists - Tower like Esano said
Geomancers - Tower like Esano said
ur'Guard - Tower like Esano said
Cacophony - Somewhere in the Inn, I think.
Ninjakari - Secret base under Bonehoard in northwest Mag.

Moondancers - Moondance tower, way up north in Seren.
Hartstone - Hartstone grove, southwest Seren near library.
Serenguard - Serenguard Lodge, southeast Seren, near nexus.
Spiritsingers - Treehouse with rainbow bridge, northwest Seren, near arena.
Shofangi - No idea.

Shadowdancers - Shadowdance tower? Teleport in/out from just under ravenwood.
Blacktalon - Great big treehouse south of ravenwood
Ebonguard - In the wyrmling, duh.
Harbingers - Caves under Glom somewhere. Forget where.
Nekotai - Cave a little northeastish of wyrmling.

The Harbingers guildhall was called The Halls of Wyrden Song. Its behind the stage neath the Drums of the Dead. Don't know if its still called that.
Unknown2009-02-16 04:29:12
I'm fairly sure that the Blacktalon guildhall is another ravenwood just south of the Master, not actually in the Master itself. o.O
Nyir2009-02-16 05:07:21
I always got the impression that it was the Master Ravenwood itself, especially with how the new guildhall's mapping is structured.
Xavius2009-02-16 05:09:15
One of Vira's incarnations said that the guildhall is the Master Ravenwood.

It must be a really recent one (ie this one), because I recall the old GH to be somewhere further north..

Nekotai - Underground cathedral hidden beneath a hidden training room. And that cathedral has a lake beneath it, in the middle of which sits yet another cathedral.

Just saying.

You let out our secret about the Cathedral of Tears! Now I'll have to kill you-- dead men tell no tales wink.gif
