Just a question I've been interested in lately.
Which one video game causes you to swear a) the loudest and b) most profusely?
For me, it's Mario Kart. Now I await the responses.

Battlefront II. I swear and curse at that game even more than Smash Bros. I swear even more if you count "plastics" as its own swear word.

Anything multiplayer that isnt RP.
Like WOW BGS make me a potty mouth.
And Halo. I swear SO MUCH when I play Halo.
And Super Smash Brothers? I get yelled at for the weird combinations of swear words I come up with.

I don't. At all. It's weird playing online and just hearing people swearing every other word.

Resident Evil 5 demo. Jesus. Me and my fiance boot it up.. and what's the first thing she does? Jumps out the window into a crowd of angry not-zombies just as I push a bookcase over to block it. What followed as mostly her swearing, but yeah, that game is going to elicit a lot of profanity.

Diddy Kong Racing.
007 for N64.

I agree 100% with this. Chainsaw guy.

I don't have a game console.
But, my most memorable video game cursing experience was when I was a kid, playing Super Mario Bros. with my dad on the nintendo and getting almost to the end of the thing, after he and I had been playing 2 person for like four straight hours, and dying and shouting, "F !" I was like eleven at the time and once I realized what I'd said, I thought I was toast for sure, but my dad was too busy laughing at me to get onto me too much about the F-bomb. Once he'd stopped laughing he said I had a freebie on the curse word cause something like that was curse-worthy.

I was swearing at Too Human a lot because I'm convinced that the people that made the game never actually tried to play it. I'll swear at pretty much anything single player that either annoys me or greatly entertains me. I do my very best to not swear when playing online with others, partly because it's in the Microsoft XBL TOS but mostly because it's just common courtesy. Not to mention that the kids swearing on Halo 3, CoD, or whatever, aren't even doing it very well. They've got a lot to learn!

Originally, I mentioned Mario Kart on SH as causing me to swear the most (for whatever reason that discussion came up, probably something to do with Ried). It was followed by me mentioning this habit of screaming while playing Mario Kart to other friends, all of who agreed that Mario Kart was indeed the game that caused one to adopt incredibly foul (and loud) language... one pointed me to the xkcd comic posted above.
However, it would seem that not all share my habit of screaming while playing Mario Kart... I am intrigued.
As an aside, only other game which causes me to swear profusely is CoD... though I swear mostly at myself.

I don't think I've ever sworn AT a video game. Maybe i'll say "sh**" (Like I do when I drop something on the ground and it breaks) but never AT the game itself.
Arix2009-02-05 21:59:11
Shadow of the Colossus (hard mode and trying to climb the tower)
Suikoden IV before you get the champ rune (high rate of random encounters)
Dragon Quest VII (bosses)
Swear words tend to pop up in regular conversation for me though, so really any video game that irritates me at least once will at least elicit an 'aww dammit'

Yeah, I cuss like a sailor IRL, so if I had a gaming console, I'm sure whatever game I played, I'd be cursing at.
Unknown2009-02-05 22:07:01
Oh, I never swear at the game... only ever swear at my buddies, heh. For CoD, I swear at myself for making stupid mistakes and missing headshots/stabs, but with Mario Kart, it's a constant stream of .

I get angry at Gears of War (both) just because sometimes its so random. For example, you can shoot someone in the face over and over with the shotgun and they're fine, but then they try to kill someone who is downed, miss, shoot you in the foot and you die from full health (its happened to me before). That kind of thing is infuriating sometimes

I swear I think there are dice rolls involved in GoW.
I never get too upset at video games. An occasional 'oh my god!' is about as bad as it gets.

I like when people try to use profanity to fit in, and they are obviously not comfortable with it. The pause before every swear word is a dead giveaway. And then when they do say something, it's just poorly constructed and obviously forced. I laugh at those people.

I like when I can unload an entire clip from my machine gun into someone's face, and they don't die. It honestly makes me afraid of them. Anything that can take an entire clip from a fully automatic machine gun to the face and survive... not only survive, but keep coming at me terrifies me.

Call of Duty: World at War
EDIT: To clarify, Multiplayer Mode. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's retarded how people don't die. Then you get the glitchers that like to hide underneath the map so they don't die cause they have no skill otherwise.
