You don't need an account to upload to Megaupload. Also, that first hit was on purpose, so I could use the Last Word instead of a normal bomb. Notice how it completely drained her health bar.

Assuming I didn't fail at Megaupload, here is an easy mode (yeah yeah I know) Y&Y Imperishable Night replay I just made for the newbies. I don't think I died but I might have once and forgotten about it. I bombed plenty.

There are easier modes than that, so don't be put off.

The only way to learn how to play a videogame is to man up and plunge in to ultra-high difficulty untill you scream with self-inflicted agony.

This rule has made me a nightmare to face in Halo, GOW, and essentially every multiplayer videogame I've ever played OTHER then Lusternia.


That said, this is hard as

Necroing a bit because I was asked to post myself beating MoF normal as anything other than hax Marisa B.

It was a pretty good run stages 1-5. I bombed through some signs I had trouble with since I already had to restart like a million times dying stupidly to Hina and freakin'...Minoriko...but didn't really die a whole lot until I got to Kanako, who has some extreme BS cards. Also, I died at least twice here to someone bugging me on MSN, then clicking back, hitting Z and the mouse getting in the way of my dodging (). Then instead of trying to weather the damn knife attacks and the last one which I still haven't mastered the technique to, I just bombed a lot. Then, Virtue of the Wind God, which needs no explanation.

Anyway, at least I did it, even though I somehow got a lower score than the ones where I DIDN'T win (presumably due to Hina bombing...)

For those unaware of the fact, the demo of Touhou 12 - Undefined Fantasic Object, was released about a week and a half ago, at Reitaisai 6. We're currently looking at an early Summer '09 release date.

Based on personal experience, I think that UFO may just be gearing up to be trickier than even Subterreanian Animism. Of course, the demo only covers the first three stages. We'll have to wait and see what Stage 4 has in store for us...

Considering ZUN claimed Touhou 12 was slightly easier EDIT: not earlier than previous installments, the UFO thing is extremely difficult to get lives with even stages 1-3, and the umbrella boss has some ridiculous cards. Ouch. Nazrin's theme is cool though.

EDIT: Incidentally, in case any of you have this issue, I had to run the config file in compatibility mode for win2k to get the demo to run in window mode.

I was meaning to make a good replay to post here for EoSD since that's the one I've been playing the most, but due to having too many issues with the game (erratic flickering in the upper right corner, suddenly becoming unplayable in windowed mode, etc.) I've opted to move on to other games that have fewer issues with Vista (or whatever).

So you'll have to settle for a mediocre one instead! Enjoy.

Been playing SWR/UNL for a while, now. And I recently started IN, woo. Finished easy. YAY I'M SO AWESOME.

(by "on Shiribot's orders" he means he asked me to do it and I said to do it himself if he wanted to)

Also, UFO's been out for a while now if anyone wants to check their old source and try it out...annoying UFO system but the bosses are still cool.

Ahhh, SWR and UNL...Memories...

So we finally got around to making a UNL fight video... Our video recorder software is being a bitch or we'd have more. This one is a fight between two of the new characters, mountain goddess Suwako (the one with the frog hat) and "China Elemental" Hong Mei Ling. Also if anyone has seen those M1 touhou manzai videos floating around, Silferras and Alianna fansubbed a couple of them by referencing some Chinese and Spanish subs. Seems like the fourth batch is coming out around New Years so we'll probably have a go at those eventually too (Yuugi sounds super manly, weird.)
