I see why I'm being suspected, and I now know that jumping on a bandwagon is a bad idea. I can't exactly help my post count, see lack of rants. I still don't quite get what I did that seems scummish aside from jumping the gun and following a few votes after seeing other people's logic and, I guess stupidly, just moving to agree with it to get some input out of me, as I -am- trying to be a part of this game. I know I made a mistake by trying to be part of the 'cool crowd', and Dai, I'm sorry that I followed the mob against you.

@harkux, nobody is expecting you to post every 5 minutes. But so far the mod has posted 20 something times. Most people have posted over 20 times, you have posted only 9. It is also nothing against you personally, it isn't your fault that you got dealt the scum card. However... when you post something like this:

It just further makes me believe that you are scum and are disappointed that you don't have enough experience to know what you -should- be doing, to not be scummy. The problem is, you are doing exactly what you should be doing, and that is why I think you are scum.

You can try to take the lead from your fellow scum but that might just incriminate them. (although I currently suspect they are being just as lurky as you are so its not much help)

Only thing I see which hints at that is this line here:

But I think that was specifically directed at S.A.W, not something that would make someone try to avoid a lynch since so far S.A.W's voting hasn't been the trend setter.

Oh, also while going over the pages I noticed that somebody thought I was "jumping on people" (or grasping at straws) too much. I was hoping it would be recognized that I was trying to find someone to start a random bandwagon on for my trap. Clearly only the Dai train stuck, so I had to use that one. However now that we have our trap victim, I'm sticking on it till relevant new information comes up.

Is that what you meant? Because that isn't what you said. You never mentioned that you didn't understand why its a "trap". You just said that you didn't understand what you did that was scummy other than the 3 things you mention.

The reason it is a "trap", is because I was setting up a situation in where newbie scum would act in one way, while non scum would all act in another way. (Yes Kiri, every person is different, however statistically, this is how people in general respond and act in these situations). So the reason why it was a "trap" is because you acted exactly how I would expect/predict for a scum person to act.

Harkux your best bet is to somehow figure out a way to prove you aren't scum. Re-read some of the old posts and devise a plan.

my bad, I didn't think the sentence following the question was expanding on the question. I thought that was just a rhetorical device. (as in, "What me worry?") Answer above still stands.

Jesus, Tekora, chill out. You are so damned angry and aggressive that it makes me completely unable to take you seriously. I have to believe it's some sort of role that has got you acting like you are, because if it's real, then wow.

Also, I like how you say "Last game isn't proof of anything!" Then tell me.. where does your basis that roleclaims are bad come from? Previous games? If so, then you just said yourself that your basis for that belief is completely flawed.

Plus, the whole idea that 25 pages is too much is something that puzzles me about this place--what does it matter how many pages something goes so long as the game remains active? Think of a mafia game like popping popcorn, just because you think it's been long enough, if the bag is still popping madly, you shouldn't be surprised when, if you pull it out regardless, that it's half-empty.

All activity is good activity in mafia, and the longer the day goes while remaining active (note that last part), the better off the town it. Long days only hurt scum, it never helps them.

Anyway, I'm going to drop that whole line of argument for now. The fact is, I doubt Fania is going to be modkilled--she's a newbie, and Kira is not a jerk. Do I wish Fania had thrown the item at Hak to resolve this? Yes, because I think lurkers are the better ones to investigate if you can. But oh well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see who is going to be "eating words".

I was wondering the same thing, and then I read your words more carefully. I believe he was just replying to the fact that you stated that last game you acted a specific way, and last game you were innocent, therefore you acting this way this game proves your innocence. It was that line that he was ranting about and saying it was "scummy"
