An uneasy feeling creeps in over the Smashers, as if something big and threathening is approaching. They look up and see the big form of Crazy Hand floating overhead. Oh well, one of two ain't half bad. "Lookz DOODZ. Demz trophiez iz MAIN!" He points towards the petrified Link and Mario. "Samez with allz dem tro-tro-TROFYZ." He cackles like a maniac and sweeps down to grab his prize, but a shot from Wolf and Falco's blaster, followed by a PK Flash from Ness sends him reeling away. "Nein. Iz main. But I iz SMRT. I haz doodz ta helpz meh. You will see demz all through todya and tamorra. First gust arroves NAOW." Crazy Hand cackles and flies away.

The sudden arrival of Crazy Hand causes unease to spread through the group. Who are these "helpers" he speak about, and what will they do? Ness is the one who first has a meeting with one of these individuals. While he is shuffling about in his home, he feels as if he is being watched. He looks around to see if he can't discern whatever it is that gives him this uneasiness. He finally notices the shimmering red shape near his door. The shape seems to move toward Lucas' home, and Ness sets off after the shape. He never gets a clear view of whomever it is, and when he arrives at Lucas' place, the shape is gone. Ness frowns and steps into the house of his late friend. It was only a few days ago since he found his friend frozen in time. He walks through the empty house, entering each room to reminiscence what it was like when Lucas was alive. However, a surprise awaits him when he enters Lucas' bedroom. As soon as he steps away from the door, it closes shut behind him. Ness turns to find a pinkhaired girl wearing a blue dress standing before the doorway. She stares at Ness intently, and he backs away in fear.

"So... you're Ness. Ain't that so?"

"Yes... and who're you."

"I'm Kumatora. A friend of Lucas." She keeps staring at him. "And someone told me you're responsible for the death of Lucas."

Ness swallows and looks around for a means of escape. However the only exit seems to be through this girl. He yells and sends forward a PK Fire, but the girl puts up a PSI Magnet shield to drain the psychic energy into her.

"Now really, who do you think taught Lucas PSI Magnet?" Kumatora grins. "But don't ya worry. I ain't here to hurt you."

"Huh, you're not?" Ness blinks. That one was new.

"No. That big hand came an told me that you guys killed Lucas but, he apparently thinks I'm a fool. Lucas has told me about you. You guys have had a lot of fun together, so I know you're not responsible for his death." She walks over to Ness and hands him a music box. "Y'know, all hope ain't lost. If you just keep on working to get rid of those responsible, I'm sure we can turn this tale from one of sadness to one of happiness."

"Thanks... but what is this?"

"It's an old Music Box that contains three distinct melodies. I'm sure you recognize them. Maria's Lullaby, Smiles and Tears, Theme of Love."

Ness looks at Kumatora and smiles. "Yeah, I know them."

"Listen to that one tonight." Kumatora nods. "And be careful. That hand's brought many other folks over here to help him kill the rest of you. Don't let him do that. Make sure Pikachu survives. So that this story can have a happy ending."

The girl turns to leave, but Ness stops her. "Wait. Kumatora... Thank you."

"Yer welcome." Kumatora grins and waves goodbye, before she leaves. Ness waits for a moment, then tries to follow after her, but it appears that she's vanished into thin air.

For those curious. That's just the first part. There'll be more later.

Anyway...

Caerulo wants to hit Archer2, but Solanis annoying attitude is still fresh in Caerulo's mind, so he swings his hammer into Solanis. The sound of shattering glass can be heard as all of Solanis' items break.

I guess this proves that I'm not lying about my judge ability?

Why does Tingle even have a judge ability? The taint and watch things follow but not this one.
Also...I don't really get what the day event did, but it looks like it was a mixed blessing. Llandros seems to have gotten some help (someone remind him this game's still going, he seems to have forgotten) but it sounds like Tabuu added scum-proxies or something weird like that to the game? As NPCs? "brought many other folks here to help him kill the rest of you." (It seems like that should already have happened to explain the multiple deaths last night though...)

That doesn't sound good at all, but at least Kira got to use it. It would've been sad if the game ended without using at least one of those things.

I do have a sort of flavour confirmation, in that everytime I attack the Smashball I attack with my head which is something only Yoshi and a few other characters do.

My vote's staying on Caerulo.

I believe in the SSE Mr. Game & Watch was enslaved or something by Tabuu, but it's still possible.

Hrm...I remember there was a "judge" thing with a hammer on those old gameboy G&W collections...but then "taint" doesn't make sense, whereas his explanation for tingle doesn't quite add up.

Maybe "taint" is just his kill method as a scum or something...I don't remember if Aiyana had anything like that.

Anyway, if he was lying like that, it's probably a good idea to kill him...I guess G&W is kinda robotic/digital enough that it would fit in a weird sort of way.

(Since my comp just spazzed and went backwards I saw Archer's post...if Tabuu enslaved G&W then it's even more likely.)

We should wait for Sham's thing to go through, then finish off Caerulo. Hopefully nothing awkward happens at night.

After the results on that, we need to not lynch right away because we need to make sure pikachu doesn't die tonight.

Ok...and how do you intend to do that? We have no doctor. All we can really do is hope Archer is town and luckily roleblocks the scum, right? Well, I'll be asleep so the fact of whether you lynch right away or not isn't really up to me, but eh.


Renthur says it's just smash-ball related, so if he's telling the truth then I guess we'll just have to hope the nintendogs are less bothersome or something...Alianna got her scry through, so maybe it's %-based (that would also explain how the scum got their kills in despite them...bad luck for us.)

Oh, ok. ...that's pretty weird for a pit trap, but ok. In that case, though, you're likely to screw me and Alianna up without warning, and WITH warning they'll just not target that person...I suppose it keeps pikachu alive though.

On that note is there even any point to keeping pikachu alive now? She doesn't win with some of us (I'm guessing she's with the beasts?) so a kill on her is as good as on anyone else for the scum, right?

Shamarah finally finishes charging up power. In the blink of an eye, she vanishes and reappears behind Casilu. Casilu staggers for a few moments, before she falls to the ground, petrified as a trophy.



The group cheers as the evil king falls. That is, until Pokemon Trainer remarks. "So... how do we save those he kidnapped? Just bringing down Bowser won't get them out of his fortified castle." And that remark is sadly true. Bowser's castle is still defended by his minions, and attacking it with Crazy Hand on the loose would be too dangerous.

On the plus side, Nintendog seems to have left too. For the time being at least.
