There really is no point for me to use anything but a high/max speed weapon with the way stats work right now.

Also, where would the stat range be standardized at? With the useful/useless of certain stats right now, it would again leave many weapons (or warriors) useless beyond useless. Would the standards be set around weapon runes or would they be set higher so you wuld have to temper down for them?

To be honest, in my opinion warrior combat in general is too dependent on weapon stats and random chance. I'd like to see some of that reduced, regardless.

If warriors get this standard stuff, then meh, I wish we got standard splendor robes...I'm sure I've burned like 100+ credits in gold on making some silly robes.

That's the whole point of having just one fixed stat per weapon type. You don't get that sort of nonsense.
