I just got a mental picture of someone getting Tramplesac'd in real life. Just pictured this big horse with a "Tramplesac" banner across his side running :censor: over. Made me think of America's Funniest Home Videos. I wouldn't do it personally even if I knew how because it looks cheap, but it is funny as hell.

I agree its broken, but so are alot of things the admin just ignore.

Pinleg actually stopping tumble which makes it make most instas insanely easy?
Poison on beast allowing instant locks of varied types?
Passive confusion with eq loss too still?
Wrath auras stacking?
Fact that Totems allows fear immunities but cities have no equiv when seren has most of the people who can fearaura?

Theres alot to fix, it either gets ignored, or the Celenwilde seal of nuh uh.

I dont even know if most of them would argue any of the above are fine. THey are all pretty obviously either biased or broken.

BTW this is why admin should show envoys what they plan if its something not proposed, so they can get the oh censor.gif no some ideas truly deserved.

One small tip: don't eat coltsfoot instead of sparkleberry except when bashing (because you lose herb balance when you eat coltsfoot, and that can mess with your curing).

Already fixed that, but really the warrior affs were not phasing me any.

I can't think of anything more imbalanced than being able to instantly (!) kill someone (regardless of ANY statistics regarding the character, a demigod has four limbs just like a fresh character from the Portal) with only two people just by having one crucify and the other trample/sacrifice. It simply cannot get any worse than that because it cannot get faster than (almost) instant, and your character cannot be in any worse shape than DEAD. By two people. Without any realistic chance to cure or escape.

You do realize you're trying to argue with Thoros, right?

He's a decent enough guy, but he plays to win (disclaimer: I have this same bad habit at times). When Thoros was a Celestine, he used to rave about how Necromancy was amazing. He used to talk about how he'd -own- with Necromancy. He likewise swore up and down that Trueheal, Inquisition, etc. were perfectly balanced. Then Thoros became a Nihilist. Suddenly, Necromancy is the most underpowered skillset in Lusternia. Trueheal, however, needs deleted!

When Thoros was a Celestine, he'd likewise argue how it took timing and skill to take down a target. When I was a Celestine, I was "cheating" because I used essentially the same tactics he employed (in fact, I didn't have to create most of my tactics, I just remembered what worked for him and Amaru).

I'm fine with pretty much the rest of the circus this thread has become, but holy censor.gif Trample can break all four of your limbs instantly? I didn't know beasts got monk training...

Or really that Forum RP exists in all mediums, as much as people try to deny that it does. As does metagaming, etc.

EDIT: Come to think of it. Forum RP probably exists more than actual RP in Lusternia.

Thoros couldn't kill you even with his two backups who were trying to help make the kill easier for him. He had to resort to what is pretty much acknowledged as the lamest and most in dire need of fixing kill combination currently in the game.

No reason to complain! You stayed alive (not sure why you didn't just leave honestly) against a pretty good warrior demi. Once trample sac is fixed you won't be dying in that situation! Of course it's possible Esano and Romero will do more to try and kill you if trample sac isn't available but presumably you'd run at that point....
