I had some friends over recently for a movie night. They brought over this movie I've never even heard of and when I heard it was an opera, I was more than skeptical. But I kept an open mind and I was certaintly and pleasantly surprised! I've bought the movie and I've watched a few times.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen or heard of this movie?

Certainly! It's great. The last scene is just heartbreaking.

I have to admit I welled up a little bit.

Lots of tears from me, and I almost never cry because of movies.

Although I've never personally seen this movie, apparently it's so awesome that a real life friend of mine based his latest tabletop Shadowrun game on it. And I'm playing in it.
