I didn't imply that there were a lot of power roles, only that there were far more important ones. For instance, I doubt there would not be a doctor in any mafia game.

Anyway, need to head off for class, I'll think about it and check back later. If Rika could claim the role name, it'll be helpful as well.

I think it will be very easy to prove Rika. After today, we get Rika to resurrect Doman, or the person we lynch if that person is town. If said person does not return from the dead, we lynch Rika. It is highly highly unlikely that scum would get a resurrecting power.

Now though, do we have any other information or people to work on?

Initially I was about to vote for Rika today, as she's from southern hemisphere and it's well known fact that demons normally are from there, since celebrating Christmas in summer seriously messes with one's head and there are many confirmed cases of demonic mutations as the years go.
However, her claiming to be the rezzer made me reconsider it. I'd be all for rezzing Doman just to see if she's saying the truth or I was right after all.
Also, even though Doman was a mere human, I much rather shift back the nice guys and scum ratio to a situation move favourable for me.

I agree, we need to kill the demons, not the good guys. We didn't kill a demon yesterday, and I don't want to kill off a rezzer that would save us and help us win.

I don't believe a single word coming out of anyone's mouth, unless I find something that makes me believe the person. Likewise, I don't see how does it make any difference if I do or do not vote for someone in a moment such as this, where so little information is available.
The former at least does something. Put's a pressure on the person and could possible make others talk as well, like you did just now, yet again trying to brand me as a scum

While I find the resurrection claim to be highly convenient, for now I suppose there's really no way for us to disprove this without revealing our doctor in the process, which we don't want to do. Difficult :/

Giving the scum two possible targets with the roleclaims of Silfferras and Rika, I think, is probably not the best but I suppose it was needed to get the game moving. Rezzing a human with no powers seems like a waste of a power that is limited. We might want to think about Rika could be a demon, as I think it would be possible and the most sense (maybe having a angel rezzer as well, thus one on each side.).

Alright, so how do we deal with Rika? Do we make her ress a townie, even if it is a vanilla townie to get a proof out of her?
Or do we save it up, and leave a nice target for the scum assuming she is townie? Either way, her ability would not be useful beyond this night. Would the doctor protect the possible now-1-shot resser, or protect the confirmed roleblocker (but not comfirmed townie yet)?

@Arix That is believable. His last post was on March 7. Still kinda coincidental that you manage to get back on half-an-hour after being voted.

Well, since I only have two uses of it, one of which may or may not have been used up by the failed resurrection last night (need to confirm with Daganev), I may only be useful as far as one resurrection goes. It probably is a better idea if you protect the roleblocker tonight (this is to the doctor, obv).

I'm in agreement with the doctor keeping the roleblocker alive at this point, a rezzer is useful but at one shot and unconfirmed it seems a bit of a liability. There is also a chance that scum will choose other targets than Rika or Silf knowing that a doctor, if one is present, will protect either one or the other.

As for voting at the moment, I'm going to refrain a bit to just catch up (plus I just got in to my home city about an hour ago and have been trying to catch up and get my orientation between the hour difference and the time change on various things). and watch the game for the next little bit and see what develops.

The problem isn't always accessing the forums, but also doing stuff on them. Like I'll manage to get on, then go to view a thread or open my control panel, or just try to do something and it'll flake out on me. Also, anyone who has played mafia with me before knows that I am rarely home on weekends and do not post much then, if at all.

I have no idea who to vote for right now, but I guess we should wait to see whether rika still has one or two rezzes left. Whether we want the doctor to protect Silferras or Rika depends on who we lynch today.

Meh, I read back over the whole thread again, and I don't have a more solid basis for suspicion than I did before. And I still think it's too early for angels with powers to reveal themselves because it's only Day 2. (Although I understand why the blocker and rezzer came forward)

I'm tempted to go back to random voting...but that really doesn't help either...hmm...
