I really really regretted switching the vote to Diamondais.

And yeah, the real-life mafia games I played had like, vanilla townies, vanilla mafia, and one investigator. We had loads of fun with that.

Seriously, what gave you the thought that it would be a good idea to have two games with identical/very similar roles running at once (or ever, for that matter)?

that's assuming people metagamed and read the other thread. I ignored it until it was over. Although now that I read up on it, it seems like the same cannot be said of others

If it's there to be metagamed, it will be. It's just stupid/naive to think that nobody will do it.

I'm not saying nobody did it, I'm saying that since I ignored the other thread, I had no idea if people did or not until the games finished and I checked the thread

Metagaming is a valid mafia strategy. If it isn't specifically warned against in a game, it's legit.

Well, I did strongly suggest to the people in this thread to refrain from reading the other thread. No idea how many listened, because I didn't read the other thread.

Edit: By the way, I'm guilty of a little metagaming myself. I saw Rika and Solanis using the Personal Messenger, and coupled with Solanis' fairly aggressive protection of Rika, was what pushed me to think Solanis was scummy. I was pressuring him to see what he would do.
