An adolescent boy, perhaps no older than nine or ten, Samas the Joyous is garbed in a pristine white chiton with a band of regal purple running along the edges, elegant golden stitching depicting many blessed runes and symbols of the Hamadhi. The bottom of the outfit ends around the boy's knees while a golden belt of rope has fastened it tightly about the boy's waist, the ends dangling in a sparkling display of tassels. The boy's gentle lips oft shift into a dancing smile that is one of love and companionship, his violet eyes simultaneously bespeaking of trust and loyalty, of passion and unconditional friendship. His gentle features hold a soft golden tan while his yellow blonde hair positively glows with a warm golden luminescence, each wave and curl of his hair catching the wind as it passes by to dance for but a moment before growing still once more. Aside from the chiton the boy remains unclothed, his toes eagerly digging into the sand or soil to revel in the fertile ground.
Samas the Joyous has an air of extreme strength.
He weighs about 68 pounds.
You cannot see what Samas the Joyous is holding.

Please tell me I haven't spent the better part of an hour talking to another character's pet? I know they could do that in Achaea, make their pets talk like this and follow. If so, you got me! biggrin.gif

Do you count Eventru as 'another character'?

EDIT: P.S. all PC pets have a loyal line in probe.
Unknown2009-02-25 03:48:45
Oh, so they do that here? Wow, how fun!
Everiine2009-02-25 03:49:01
It is either an ephemeral (not sure about that, as HONOURS SAMAS shows nothing), or it is the "pet" of Eventru, so it's better than a player pet. It's like talking to Hinnagar, Lisaera's winged wolf (who is awesome).

I'm impressed! In all my 5 years playing somewhere else, I never had small interactions like that fueled by the divine players. Thanks!
Shaddus2009-02-25 03:51:15
I believe that's Eventru's herald or pet. Fain has a wolf, I'm sure Makfir could take this little cherub any day.

Eventru's pet is a little boy?

How very Greek!

Ah, and you do know what Greek men do to their little pet boys, right?

You HAVE seen Eventru, right?

His symbol has a frigging amphora on it. I mean, come on. tongue.gif

I think he's supposed to have an Adonis look to him, either that or Zeus from the Hercules disney movie. (Which rocks, by the way. )

Psh, Hinnagar could take them all out content.gif /forumrp

On a related note, do Charune and Maylea have heralds/pets?

As Zeus unto Ganymede, Caerulo, so was Eventru unto Samas.

@Shaddus: He reminds me of Chronos/Zeus in his temperament, and Dionysos with his eccentric behavior.

Bunch of pervs! Samas, as He introduced Himself to me and after some darling RP with Raziela, claims to be Her little brother. I have an inkling of where the idea came from and wub.gif Eventru He's even better then what I thought of for Raz's sibling

I had a massive, illustrated book of Greek myths when I was younger. As I grew older and figured out what Zeus really wanted with Ganymede, I was more and more amused by the way the editors sanitized each myth.

If Maylea has one I haven't seen yet.

That's exactly how I picture him too!

So, Fain has a wolf, Lisarea has a wolf, Viravain has a wolf.

Are the Celest gods the only ones without wolves?
Krackenor2009-02-25 15:52:45
Hey! Fain has a DIREwolf. Big difference.
Kiradawea2009-02-25 16:18:55
Well, last time I checked, all wolves are 8 feet+ in size, so I think they're all Direwolves. tongue.gif

And Lisaera has a WINGED wolf, which is even COOLER.
