You never run out of that bonus, though. Well, you do if you're omnitrans. Being omnitrans should let you SKILLCHOICE SELECT IHEARTESTARRA.

I still recommend, once you are pretty sure you like your character, to make a small credit purchase to lock that character as permanent (even from suicide). And I'm not saying that to make money for Lusternia (we don't make a lot from $10 purchases), but rather from experience as I've seen no small amount of heartache when a character that one has grown to love has died, either from a wipe or from an impetuous suicide.

Using all your bonus lessons or buying a few hundred credits means you have issues? How about buying only about 0.08% of the roughly 25k credits you've spent in the game?

(I had someone buy credits for Larkin in Achaea once because they didn't want him to suicide when I said I was leaving. I bought my own here because I know I'm never leaving!)

Yeeaah. I've paid Estarra's rent a few months. A 300 credit package I'm sure is much appreciated by the paid staff and plenty expensive on its own merits, but buying one doesn't make you have "issues."
