I want Demigod because I have issues. Can't do anything without going as far as humanly possible with it.

Serenwilde raises anyone with a spoonful of talent. Thats your best chance if you want ascendant. How did I get Demigod? Despite what people think I bashed up pretty far without astral. Its once you realize that you are going to bash the same crap for your entire life no matter what level you are, then its a little easier. And its sitting there going OMG I HATE THIS and having a few clans for laughs helps, and an autobasher so you just hit automatically and move yourself. Double XP week helped (granted XP is so broken right now with coven XP that its like triple xp week all the time). Its just finding those advantages like double xp week and going 'this is good as its ever going to get so I am going to make myself bash'. I don't think I logged off double XP week and went from 92 to 98. Then I went with crazy OP influencing for the remainder of the levels and then a final astral bash.

Other than that, everyday was orcs, merians, gorgogs, elfens, tunnels, spectres. And of course, astral with Jhagar but others can tell you even after we whored astral, I would usually go down neurotic and bash more or influence.

Get a Demigod to constantly ask you if you want to go hunting. Don't do what I do and refuse.

Move to Australia. Thus when you play in the evenings, everybody in North America is sleeping. No more going to areas to find them bashed out. Or if you do, its time to hunt down your fellow Australians.

Its a legitimate strategy (not that I'm Australian or anything).

Move to England. If you wake up early in the mornings and play everybody in North American is sleeping as well. Bizarrely enough, they too have interesting accents so that may be a hinderance to reaching Demigod.

You don't get bashing areas which are supposed to help you get to Demi quickly, and that's the main thing people usually fail to grasp. Like Romero said, for the last 20 levels you are going to be bashing/influencing the same crap over and over, and it's usually always crap aimed at lower levels than yours. This is a constant drain on willpower, and if you don't have a million of that IRL, you're not getting Demi.

As much as some people may deny it, Astral is just a huge pool of experience waiting to be taken advantage of.

Oh sure, if you have people to link with, Astral is what you called it. I was talking more along the lines of getting to Demigod solo. (Now, if it is your opinion that solo-linking would get you anywhere, then we disagree and I'll just drop it.)
