Kuro moved towards the fountain and set herself up for a swift cut along one of the Goblin Cutters.

((Move to K8, attack on C5 with Greatsword))

The goblin cutters dart suddenly forward, three of them swarming the two nearby townmen and cutting them down mercilessly. Another, on the other side of the fountain, leaps at Kuro, who easily deflects the blow with her greatsword.

((You should note that each fo the small goblins only has 1 hp!))
Unknown2009-03-04 05:41:18
((ahh doh >.< overkill))

((the sheet looks different from when I moved...))
Unknown2009-03-04 11:39:22
((Okay, so, as a rogue you only get a single attack. So, you'd want to use your deft strike. Each attack uses a standard action, and you only get one of those per turn. But no problem! This game is all about learning. So we'll just go with your deft strike roll. Also, in the future, don't forget to roll damage if you're fighting something other than a minion.))

Watching it's comrade impaled by Zorga's deft strike, a goblin cutter from across the courtyard screeches and charges, making it's way through the crowd to attack the rogue, hoping to catch her off guard. That hope is in vain, however, as the rogue deftly dodges the blow, throwing a vicious look at the cutter in return.

((C3 moves to P10. Misses Zorga.

Next Up: Aesamar

Unknown2009-03-04 17:32:15
Aesamar steps outside the curiosity shop and turns towards the newly-established battlefield to his right. Seeing a pair of goblins relatively far from any other defenders, his hand shoots outwards in their direction as his mouth forms the words of power, and an orb of flame roars to life near the goblins, searing its unfortunate neighbour.

((Walk to R6))
((Cast Flaming Sphere into O6, attacking C6. Int vs. Ref14 (1d20+4=16) Hit! Damage: (2d6+4=8)))
((Just realised I could have done both of those in one roll if I'd used semicolons. Oh well. He's dead either way!))
EDIT:((Nearly forgot: I'll sustain the sphere as my minor action. Unless it doesn't actually take up the action. Not entirely sure.))
Unknown2009-03-04 19:00:39
((Don't need to sustain it until your next turn.

I'll run the monster's turn once I get home from work and can update the map, since lots of things have their turn and it might be a bit hectic if I don't do it that way.))
Unknown2009-03-04 23:49:42
Screeching, a goblin warrior hurls a javelin towards Zorga, grazing her side and causing her to let our a ferocious roar, while on the other side of the well a cutter does it's job on a struggling innocent.

A second goblin abandons the fresh corpse of the townsperson to leap over a cart and attack Kuro, who easily deflects the blow, and, miraculously, only a moment later manages to shake off a nasty hex from the shaman who snuck into position to the south.

Fueled by the sight of Zorga's blood, a final goblin charges forward to attack, the rogue's pain and anger enough to drive the knife-wielding runt off.

Meanwhile, the townspeople run screaming, almost all those still alive making it to safety.

((W2 hits Zorga. 4 damage.
C1 hits T1. T1 is dead.
C2 moves to J8. Misses Kuro.
Hexer moves to J12. Hexer uses Blinding Hex on Kuro. Misses.
C8 moves to O10. Misses Zorga.
T4, T5, T6, T8 move off the map.
T7 moves to A8.

Next Up: Tsuujin))

Isuka2009-03-05 00:26:20
Taking a chance to rush into the action, Tsuujin runs to the closest cutter and throws a wild swing at it, not bothering to look back as his momentum throws him towards the next Cutter in a line. Another, more focused, strike is made which leaves the cutter cleaved in two.

((
Moves to m6, attacks c10 with Tempest Dance
Tempest Dance vs. C10 (AC 16) (1d20+7=13) (miss)
shift to m7, attacks c9 with Tempest Dance second attack.
Tempest Dance vs. C9 (AC 16) (1d20+7=22) (hit)

Note: I screwed up and forgot to change the text for the second roll, it should have been against c9, not c10. I changed the link text to reflect correctly.
))

Unknown2009-03-05 00:56:29
When Tsuujin attacks and misses, the first cutter resorts to typical goblin tactics, scampering further out of the way, putting distance between himself and his attacker--however, a powerful chatter is heard from across the square, as the goblin hexer stamps his foot and points.

Seemingly enchanted, the retreating cutter shifts again, this times toward Tsuujin, taking a quick shot at him with his blade, which lands, biting fiercely at his thigh.

Recovered from his previous throw, one of the goblin warriors races towards Zorga, spear at the ready, appearing to be on a mission--the rogue just happens to be in the way. Fortunately, the dragonborn was still on her toes after the other javelin-wielder made her bleed.

((C10 uses goblin tactics to shift to N7.
H uses Inspire Bravery on C10.
C10 shifts to M7. Hits Tsuujin for 4 damage.
W1 moves to N9. Misses Zorga.

Ralzik runs towards Kuro's side, causing him to fade into the shadows and simueltaneously calls upon the arcane forces to bring up a shield of black ice around him.
((Move to J8, use shadowwalk and then cast Armor of Agathys ))

Kuro moved back and reared her head, before spewing a dangerous bolt of lightning out at the two goblins in front of her.

((Blasts actually mean it goes in a straight line, so Blast 3 would be 3 squares in front of you, so you could only actually target a single goblin in your current position.))

Watching the dragonborn rear back, the small goblin prepared for the worst. The crackling of lightning was enough of a warning, lucky for it, and it managed to leap out of the way, just barely avoiding tumbling into the well as a result.

Unfortunately, as the fiendish cutter recovered from it's dodge and prepared to strike back, it shifted unknowingly into a field of infernal ice of the warlock's conjuring. It's features twist in pain as it tumbles over and shatters into a million pieces.

Ignoring the dying gurgle of its fellow, the goblin facing Tsuujin continues to act on it's inspired bravery. Luckily for the fighter though, bravery doesn't equal skill, and he's easily able to deflect the cutter's attack now that he was expecting it.

((C4 triggers Armor of Agathys. C4 is dead.
C10 misses Tsuujin.))

Next Up: Zorga
Unknown2009-03-05 13:33:07
Zorga grunts at the warrior, bearing her shortsword viciously at the goblins around her. She feigns to the right, then to the left, and psychs out the goblin warrior with a strike that she hopes will send him rolling into the fighter enjoying himself on the other side of the fountain...

Positioning strike on N9 vs 12 Will, slide 4 up to N5 (1d20+3=19)

Unknown2009-03-05 16:08:02
((Don't forget, Bali, you can also roll your own damage in the future. I went ahead and rolled for you this time. 5 damage.))

Watching Zorga push one of his allies away, the goblin cutter behind her attempts a quick jab, only for it to be completely and easily avoided by the rogue's artful dodging.

((C3 misses Zorga
