Aesamar reaches out with his mind, and sends his ball of flame drifting towards where two of the remaining foes have sheltered. Once there, its flames begin to flare all the more violently, and the yellow fire tears towards the warrior, scorching his flesh and burning the air he breathes. As for the archer, the flames avoid him for now, but they will not be so kind for long.

((Nothing is casting the shadow. The lights I have set have a secondary range that is colored. So it's essentially just an area of slightly dim light. In reality, the program I'm using is just a little wonky when it comes to that. I could put another lightsource directly inside it, and the shadow would still show up.))

"Come on, Human," spits the hobgoblin, "I can smell your blood. Let's dance." And just as he spoke, he lashed out, slamming his flail into ground at Tsuujin's feet, and then yanking it up, catching him in the legs in a burst of pain.
"Too slow!" taunts the soldier. "Now die!"
The goblin warrior, meanwhile, takes the chance to dart out from behind the flaming sphere, suffering a few minor burns in the process, to unleash a javelin at the Githyanki hiding in the corner. The hurled blade manages to pierce the warlock's magic, but only just barely.

S2 hits Tsuujin for 9. Tsuujin is Marked & Slowed.

(( He's right, the curse counts as a minor action, which you can do before your attack. My mark is different, because I can only do it against someone I have either hit or missed. ))

Once again using his Sphere as his primary weapon, Aesamar sends the orb whirling towards the Warrior that so narrowly escaped it. However,the Warrior ducks and weaves once more, and remains unharmed by the tongues of scorching flame. Aesamar's brow creases in annoyance as his attacks miss continually.
