((If you look at the map, the Cutter had shifted away when Bali missed him, so he wasn't next to you anymore.

And Isuka, no, no need to roll, but it might have to wait a few minutes before I can make a full post, but in the mean-time

Up Next: Ralzik, Kuro, Zorga, Aesamar))

((Ignore this post, S.A.W, please explain to me the best way for me to do what I want to do? Thanks))
Unknown2009-03-06 17:56:14
((One thing, Isuka--you have to move at least 2 squares in a charge, and, since there was only 1 square between you and W1, we're going to fix the move by having you shift back a square and then charge. Doesn't effect anything, really, since you didn't use your move action, but I want to mention it so everyone learns.))

((Can I do an action, and then charge with a swing? or do I just move into position and I attack next round?))
Daganev2009-03-06 17:59:49
(( meh I keep messing up))
((basically, I want to telekentic leap bali, to north of the Hexer, so he and I are flanking it))
((Bali, I'm trying to put you into possition so you can get whatever rogue bonsues you get for flanking))

((A charge is a move+attack that just takes up a single standard action, but it has to be in a sort of straight line. (basically, you need to be able to draw a straight line between you and the target and have it not be obstructed by an enemies or objects.

In your current spot, C1 is slightly in your way. So, what you could do is move to N11, telekinetic leap Bali to H12, (flanking only works if you're on opposite sides of the enemy) then charge to J12 and attack with a swing. You'll also gain a +3 to hit with your attack total, from flanking and charging.))
Daganev2009-03-06 18:29:04
((Ok, and I can do all that? Then that is what I will do!))

Ralzik looks around the battlefield and decides that the Goblin Shaman really needs to die. Looks to Zorga, and quickly lifts him into the air with his mind, then turns his head to the cart behind the Golbin Shaman and puts him down behind him (H12). With his scythe raised, Ralzik charges the goblin shaman (to J12)and swigs his scythe with his small arms, missing the goblin.

((What's the procedure for rolling a save against Blind?))

((End of your turn, roll a 1d20. If you get a 10 or higher, you save and the effect ends. Saves are very stream-lined in 4e, which is nice.

While blind, you suffer a -5 to hit, grant combat advantage to all monsters, aaand you can't flank.))

(( Can't Aesamar spend a point for a healing surge? ))

(( Can't Aesamar spend a point for a healing surge? ))

((Nope. He already used his Second Wind. He would have to have help to spend another Healing Surge--Warlord, in this case. But once the battle is over, you guys will be fine.))
Unknown2009-03-07 00:43:15
((I almost forgot!))

Tsuujin, picking up the object that the goblin dropped upon the ground as it died, sees that it is a small black horn wrapped with white leather strips, just the right size to be used as a dagger. As he grips the hilt in his hand, he feels a small surge of bravery, as if he could take on a giant.

Gaetele2009-03-07 01:43:46
Kuro stumbled towards where she last saw the Hexer, but opted not to strike due to her blindness.

((Move to J11, do nothing.))

((Blindness check (1d20=17))) - Cured!
Unknown2009-03-07 02:10:52
Woooaahh..what...hey...what the!!?!? I'm not a ball you ugly gith!!!

A little discombobulated and annoyed at being lifted in the air like some puppet, Zorga shakes her fist at the pesky warlock moving her around with his mind. When she comes to her unceremonious landing, she decides that despite being thrown around, its best that she's closer to this hexer. She puffs steam from her nostrils into the hexer's face mockingly, as she prepares her next attack...

Trick Strike on Goblin Hexer, Slide to I11 (1d20+6+3=20) ((hit))

Tricky Strike Damage (3d6+3=15)
Unknown2009-03-07 02:32:04
((Actually, because you had Combat Advantage (from flanking) you get to add Sneak Attack damage to your attack. So, that's an extra 1d6 (which I just went ahead and rolled for you, for another +3, so a total of 18 damage.))

Unknown2009-03-07 22:12:49
((Really sorry I took so long to check in. I've had no computer access for about 30 hours.))

Making his way around the crates back towards the battle, Aesamar sends his burning sphere around as well, deciding that the remaining cutter has been trying the team of fighters' patience for too long. The wizard brings his hand up to before his newly-working eyes, and a blue light begins to glow between his fingers as he whispers words of power. He suddenly points towards the troublesome hexer in the corner of the square, and the light bursts from his fingers as he does so, erupting out as it reaches the diminutive goblin, surrounding his with a pall of icy fog.

((Sustain Minor))
((Move to O11))
((Spend action point on another move action, using it to send FS to M10.))
((Cast Freezing Cloud at I11 and J11. Int vs. Fort14 (1d20+4=19) Hit! Damage: (1d8+4=7) And the cloud will attack again when the Hexer starts its turn))

EDIT: Looking over the past few posts, didn't Zorga kill the Hexer? You said it had 17 health, and then he did 18, right?

((Nope. I try to keep the HP lists updated. So that's his new HP after Bali's hit.))
Unknown2009-03-07 23:00:06
((Ah, okay. So, depending how the cloud's autoattack goes, the battle may or may not be over in a minute.))
Unknown2009-03-07 23:52:10

Focusing on the Goblin Hexer, the group of heroes only hears a scream of pain as the last cutter leaps into the twenty-foot deep well, attempting to put out the flames that have engulfed him.

Meanwhile, the green-skinned magician has managed to resist any further bite from the arcane cloud that surrounds him, taking the chance to run away. Not about to let that happen, however, both Zorga and Ralzik take swings at the fleeing hexer. The rogue's attack strikes home, slicing across the goblin's throat and sending a spray of blood out into the air.

The hexer hits the ground, dead, his blood freezing as it leaves his veins.

((C1 triggers Flaming Sphere. C1 is dead.
H triggers Freezing Cloud. Freezing Cloud Misses. 3 damage.
H moves to K9. Draws OAs from Zorga and Ralzik. Ralzik misses. Zorga hits for 8 damage.
H is dead.))

((Ytraelux, I slightly changed your moves, and here's why--First, the term "creature" refers to everyone, including you and any of the other players. If it says "enemies", you'd be safe, but if it says "creatures", you're all vulnerable. Because of this, you don't want to stand next to your Flaming Sphere, so I had to move to a slightly different position.

On top of that, your Freezing Cloud is an Area Burst. Burst shoots out X number of squares in all directions, where as the Blast of your last attack was just X squares in one direction. That means you'd want to position it slightly differently since it targets creatures and could potentially hit Bali and Dag with it's 5x5 square area.

I figured adjusting the moves myself and then explaining would help everyone learn but keep us from wasting tooo much time on it. Hope that's ok!))
