I like long movies. The matinee price at the IMAX is $10.50. For that price, the movie had better be good and long.

Don't you all just ignore it? I know that it was CG-generated, so I just ignored it.
I didn't really notice it, either. There were some chavs behind me making typical chav noise ("AWWW MAYTE", "WOOOO", etc) whenever it came on, but c'mon guys, he's a crazy blue guy with god-like powers, there's enough to stare at without bringing his schlong into the equation.
Film's rated 18 in the UK which is the highest you can get, and for that I was expecting good gore and some pretty kinky sex. I was not disappointed. Also, Adrian was awesome, as was the little nod to Rorschach's "possible homosexual" commentary of him in the graphic novel. (A folder on Veidts desktop called "Boys".)

Yeah, I was wondering why the heck would he have a folder called Boys on his business diskette.

Wow...
It's rated 18+ here, and I'll be going with my boyfriend when we have time to go. I know he's really desperate to go and the only thing that stopped us from going in Chicago was the fact we were all about to pass out from exhaustion.

Oh, come on...no one liked the Watchmen cartoon?

I enjoyed the movie, even if the 'normal guy' heroes they tried to portray seemed to have an awful lot of stone-smashing, table chucking strength.
Jack2009-03-13 08:47:23
Not to mention The Fly style arm-breaking.

I'm a big Alan Moore fan. I have some of old Swamp Things he wrote awhile back (talk about dating myself). Strangely, I never got around to reading Watchmen so this movie was a real treat! Loved it!
Alan Moore's style is a bit like Frank Miller. My favorite traditional strip comic of all time is Peanuts. So here's what happens when Frank Miller meets Charlie Brown!
