Sorry for not posting much but it's day one, I don't have much input and I don't feel like jumping on the slightest slip up someone makes. Can't really do much.

But if no one jumps on things, and everyone just sits back and does nothing cause there's not much to do, then we'll never leave day one!

Actually, I'm going to Unvote And look at the list of who jumped on me. At least one (maybe two) of those people are scum.

Daganev, can you please, when you update vote counts, post the vote count? So there is a permanent record of who voted for who when? Because there is no way for me to check, I just realized, since you are just keeping it in your signature.

I guess... but I really didn't want to, and I wanted to give you guys the opportunity to do such tracking if you thought it was important.

Ok, I went back over the thread and this is what I got. The order that people voted for me went:
Casilu, Fania, Shaddus, Noola, Dai and Archer2

Now, I am going to assume that at least one of those people is scum. Also, since non-participation seems to also be a scum tell, from what I've gathered, I am going to vote for one of the people with the least amount of posts of them. That would be Shaddus. So Vote: Shaddus

But I am going to FOS Casilu and Dai
Casilu was continually posting that she thinks I'm scum, without really explaining why, she was just posting percentages of certainty that I am scum. Dai because he has a low post count and jumped on my bandwagon without really contributing.

You can always put "vote" into the search text and look to see who all voted.

I don't know how to search threads... the search function confuses me

Go to search-> More search options (it’s an underlined link)->More options (at the bottom)

If you want to search for the word vote type in “vote” in the upper left-hand corner (under Search by Keywords). If you want to look at all the post I’ve written type “Fania” in the upper right-hand corner (Filter by Member Name (optional).) I usually leave “Match Exact Name” un-checked when I click it.

Under “Search Where” click on “The Real World” and that will mostly give you stuff about this thread. Also click “ Search in child forums if sub category is chosen?” at the bottom left.

Click the button “Show results as posts” under Result Type.

Finally click “perform the search” and you’re done….unless you accidently press “simple mode”, then you need to hit the back button of your browser. I hope this helps you or anyone else it may have confused.

I've considered the options and I am officially voting for Kiradawea with a reason. (I never unvoted my random vote so...it'll just stay there.)

First, as Narsrim pointed out, K is remarkably fixated on "defensiveness" and while lately, Kiriwe has been coming across defensive, at that point she had not. Also the alleged "defensiveness" on my part, which I believe to be non existant. Kiriwe has claimed and everyone seems to believe her, so this casts a doubtful shadow upon K's motivation.

Secondly, the second post. Most notably the bolded areas. The first line K makes the argument against my "lurker is not a valid accusation at this point" by saying "if no one posts, nothing ever gets done." Obviously, that is not what I said, or even hinted at. Of course things need to be said, but there needs to be a level of validity if you are going to go after people with the intensity Kira has, unless you are scum and just need a reason to lynch. The second bolded line is an attempt at misdirection. "Saying something....will in the end be beneficial to the town." No, this is a false statement. We have to be very careful about what we say and who we go after to force claims from. If we got after someone we have little reason to go after and just need a scapegoat, we run the risk of forcing our doctor, cop, etc into claiming and revealing themselves...thus helping the demons. The demons may now about eachother, but they are shooting in the dark when it comes to us.

I believe Kira's eagerness to lynch someone without reason, followed by Kira's strange reasoning is enough to start moving towards a lynch.

If you're going to suspect someone from voting, it's usually suggested to go for the center, since scum will try to blend in.

How come Fania wasn't bolded?

Because Kiriwe didn't have a reason to suspect me? I don't know, she already un-voted for me, so buh.

First two are the trend starters, really. It takes a bit of nerve to say this person deserves to die with no one or almost no one supporting the cause. If I remember last game, two of the scum were in the middle of the first day lynch. Last two may be slow people, but it mostly seems to be the middle group. That's why Archer2 isn't bolded as well.

Fyler, arguing that any information benefits scum/town is pointless. It's all in how it is worked. The only time the scum would benefit exclusively would be if it were a flat out claim of 'Oh I'm the doctor, kill me!' You're looking at one side and assuming the town is incapable of pulling information out. The second post quoted was also a simple explanation of why she wanted people to post rather than be inactive, no reason to jump down her throat for it especially since with only 12 people we need everyone to participate anyway.
