Due to a cudgel generally being much shorter than a staff, I'm pulling a bit of a blank. However, I figure that if nothing else, I can always make the cudgel longer in the description if I'm customizing it.
So, I'm looking for ideas on customization. I would generally prefer something based around a snake and crow, as Tynghall belongs to the Blacktalon.
Please, offer your suggestions! Once I have a rough draft, I'll post it up for your review and you can critique it.

Have a scepter sort of thing where the handle is made of ravenwood, with a spiderweb and vines pattern cut into it, and a snake carved out of hemlock twisting around it. Glowing purple runes inlaid. Crow with wings spread and head raised carved into the top, so the splinters shoot out of the mouth.

That would be epic, since the BT are the guardians of the wyrden forest and all.

a cudgel is a rather specifically shaped weapon, I thought. Like a club. I think having it carved in any way would remove this aspect to it. I imagine you could have a slightly longer handle, but the end would still need to be round and blunt, or it ceases to be a cudgel. -shrug-
You could have crow feathers tied to the handle with strips of leather, with a snakeskin grip, maybe? And dark, glowy pulsating deep purple runes along the bulbous part.

Love this idea.
