On the topic of finding a family, it depends on where you live. The Dekovens are, basically, freakin' huge and loud. I don't mind it too much, mostly because along with another clan, they're who I can gripe to about how much I hate my trade skill. They're a great family, but the trouble is finding somebody married and able to adopt you - and that goes for any family, really. Sometimes spouses go inactive, sometimes people just don't want to adopt.

I would suggest maybe spinning a little roleplay about it and perhaps leave it open-ended - thus not directing your views at any particular family but allowing an older couple to step in and claim parenthood over you at their interest or at the leisure of both parties.
