First, to get something else out of the way, I've decided after some thought that I am going to keep playing Lusternia after all. I feel I've got a handle on my current situation enough that Lusternia shouldn't impede getting my life in order.

Okay, now that that's out of the way...I know family is a bit of a hot topic these days, but I thought I'd ask around to see if I can find Parabollus's in-game family. (If this isn't allowed or should be in another forum, then I do apologize and this thread can be moved/deleted as the mods please.)

I've been kind of curious about my in-game family since another dracnari player mentioned that Parabollus is a bit squeamish for a dracnari, and is remarkably shy and not very assertive by dracnari standards. She mentioned that maybe Parabollus was raised by elves, or some other race that would've sheltered him, perhaps? I've been kind of curious to see what sort of family would fit this criteria for him...what sort of family life would bring about the kind of personality that's seen from Parabollus? If you need more info on Parabollus's personality, please ask and I'll gladly provide it, but would the info I gave above be enough to determine Parabollus's family?

There's the Talnara family, they're very much elfen (despite the fact that majority of the founders aren't), and they're the caring type of family. Very Serenwilde, actually.

There's always the Dekovens. I'm sure we have some dracnari.

Or you could have had an accident on the way out of the portal and anyone in the Dekovens can adopt you.

The Rakona Lineage is all Dracnari, there are 2 of us. Well, one of us quit so... i'm tno sure about getting people into the family when there is just me. If it is a problem I'll just make an all Drancari family then!

I think you should talk to people and see how you might fit into their families. The Dekoven's are a great bunch. I'm sure Aoife and Rodngar would make great parents. The Dekovens are a loud and rowdy bunch on their clan channel. Don't dismiss them just yet, though. Lots of shy people come from big families. It's easy to get lost in the shuffle. Really, though, don't rush into it. Just talk to people first. I know your character is shy, but try to find some middle ground for this. Maybe whisper things at the pool, so it's like you want to be noticed without standing out. If people get to know you well enough they will come in droves to snag you up.

Actually...Fania needs another kiddo too. Fania's only daughter, Sylian probably wont be returning to the realms. I don't think I'll ever get around to adopting a lot of kids, especially because of Arlent not being in the realms much (He's got school to worry about irl but should be around a bit in the summer and for spring vacation soon). I had a list of things I wanted in a child on the "looking for kids" thread. All I really want is someone who uses their head, and behaves fairly well in public. (Little warning I do talk a lot. Araya, who is also shy, says I'm scary, hee hee)

If you are having trouble getting your character motivated, just message me in game or here and we can work out a role-play situation that would work for you. I'm sure any other person would do the same here if asked.

Finding a family is usually as easy as not trying to find a family. And just trying to be your most awesome self for a while. Be extra friendly and sorta hang around older people you like, even if they're not married they might end up setting you up with their family or relatives or friends in the end.

I'm sure that as soon as you can pull Rodngar away from the forge, he and Aoife will be as ah.... "prolific" as Raf and Meli. Assuming that you're able to pull him away from the forge, of course.
