Jester

1. Masks.
Masks: (Wear mask comedy) (wear mask saddness) Wear mask happy)
While wearing the mask of Comedy You will Regenerate your Ego 2.5% per 10 seconds.
While wearing the mask of Saddness Those that strike you will feel your unquenchable sorrow.
Those that strike you will find 1% of their Ego drained into your reserves.
While wearing the mask of happiness Ego loss for skills is lessened by 3%

2. Staredown: (Staredown -name-) (basic bashing attack)
Using your eyes you give your foe a look that really can kill.

3. Dance. (pose dance) Through even the most novice of dancing
can restore thier mind 2.5% mana restore per 10 seconds.

4. Winduptoy. (Wind up toy) Will wander about bumping in to anything that moves
knocks people on enemies list off balance for 1 second. ticks once every 10 seconds for 2 minutes.

5. Bow/curtsey (jester bow) (jester curtsey) who would attack someone during their introduction?
2power peaces all enemies in the room

6. juggling (Juggle rock {no balance loss}) (Launch throws everything you happen to be juggling) you can juggle anything now show them! Lets you juggle a rock and eventually throw it
causing black out, takes balance

7. soldiertoy! (wind up soldier)
Equip a winduptoy with a spear. When the toy ticks once every 10 seconds it causes enemies to trip. Knocks them down and causes damage.

8. Crying. (Jester cry) pathedic simply pathedic and they know it!
Crying every 5 seconds ego is passivly drained from enemies. Added anyone who would harm you causes an even larger drain of ego.

9. Juggling rat! (Juggle rat) (Launch) throwing a rat at an enemy what could be more awful.
causes bleeding untill the pull the rat from themselves.

10 Jokes (poke fun) destroy the image of others by your mean spirited jokes.
Causes vommiting and anorexia.

11 laughter. (Jester laugh) Laughing are you crazy? of course you are.
every 5 seconds the enemy is afflicted with a new affliction called
any ego gained while afflicted is negated.

12 toy rat! (wind up rat) the rat nasty little thing..
every 10 seconds enemies are hit with charybdon.

13 juggle snakes! (juggle snake) (launch) the poison of the snake destroys all
causes Crotamine.

14 frown. (jester frown) frown saps the will of its victum
causes ego loss.

15 smile (jester smile) bring in those who would stay away.
Beckons target.

16 Sorrow (Jester sorrow ) you poor glomdoring you. heals ego passivly every 10 seconds
Love. (jester love ) you loving celestian you. heals allies passivly every 10 seconds
mighty (jester might ) you might magnagoran you. 5% damage reduction.
snuggly (jester snuggle? ) You furry seren'r you. heals mana passivly

17 Tinker'r you must just love those toys. 1 power speeds up wind up balance.

18 clapping (Jester clapping.) who would refuse to clap? Causes enemies to start applouding you
which gives you the (Jester assess ) which shows their ego amount and maximum.

19 Juggle air (juggle air) (Launch) air is just another part of your act. Causes asthma

20 Finale (Finish) must not all acts eventually die? Kills a target with under 50% ego. 5p


a rough draft but an extra note
The launches would all happen at the same time so you could hit the enemy with 4 afflictions at the same time if you juggle them all.

The nice thing about Lusternia is that it doesn't really mimic the classes of the other games, and Achaea already has a Jester class.

Have you ever played a monk or warrior class in the other games? Comparable in name only. Jester is something pretty specific.

It's an interesting idea, but what would the RP basis for it be?

Telling people jokes to make them vomit? Is it magic or..?

How does this archetype fit into the cities and communes, or Lusternia for that matter?

I'd rather see the cities come out of their slumber instead. First do that then add whatever guilds you like afterwards.

It's a conflicting problem. On the one hand: the more types of guild we have, the higher the chance we peak a player's interest. On the other hand, the more guilds we have, the more playerbase is required to admin them. Catch-22, anyone?
