btw... in dnd4e when do you gain new attribute points? Just curious cause of the people who have odd numbers in thier attribute stats that arn't 11.

Okay, first attempt goes out of the window. Made another one using the builder software... though knowing me, I'll most likely change it at least twice before we start, heh. Keeping the class though.
Also, I'm slightly puzzled when you say that Cha has little to no use. What about Rogue attacks that get a boost both from Dex and Cha?

I miss the Truenamer class from DnD3.5e

That statement is more fitting for 3.5. In 4e, Cha is actually quite useful for Rogues. For Artful Dodger builds, for example, you want to maximize Dex and Cha.

Another question! (I swear this is the last one. Honest!)
In the character builder, when selecting a weapon, I can see the damage for some of them (like double axe) are listed 1d10/1d10... what does that mean? Is it another way to say I roll 2d10 for damage?

Depending on which end you attack with (you choose one end to attack with, the same as choosing to attack with a single weapon when holding two), you do 1d10 or 1d10... this has less meaning for Double Axe since it's just 1d10/1d10, but for other double weapons it can be like 1d8/1d6.
Navaryn2009-03-26 02:42:27
...Why would you choose the lower damage end then? Am I missing something?
Unknown2009-03-26 02:43:29
Different damage types (blunt/cutting). Or attack bonuses with a certain type with certain powers (Hammer vs. Pick). Etc.
Navaryn2009-03-26 02:44:48
Oooh... didn't think of that. Cool, thanks.

That's what I thought... An Artful Dodger with a race that gives Dex and Cha bonus (so on lvl1 around 18Dex and 16Cha) would get some really nice bonus on attack like Sly Flourish.
Then again, I've never played DnD proper, so I might have no idea what I'm talking about, heh.
Still, I'm really, really looking forward for this!
Can we start now, can we, can we?!
Unknown2009-03-26 16:52:20
Level 1 with correct race can give you 18 dex/cha, which means a nice +8 damage on Sly Flourish. So you are correct, go with high charisma/high dexterity.

But isn't sly flurish only once per encounter?
Better to go with the 20 dex / 16 cha. Same +8 on sly, but +5 on your main attacks.
edit: However that requires actually choosing Sly flourish as a power, which you didn't

In which case, Charisma is pointless.

What I could do there is get rid of Int and Wis, but wouldn't that leave me too crippled against certain rolls? Or 12 makes me crippled anyway and it doesn't matter?
And no, Sly Flourish is At-Will Power.

I would suggest making str and int 10, and make your Con 14, Then instead of training athletics, train intimidate.
