That should put him at one away from a lynch. Lets not do a ninja lynch.

I was hoping players would not be lazy and they would notice it.
I'll tell you why tommorow.

it wouldnt really be a ninja lynch because he's been defending himself (albeit poorly) the entire time
We should give him the chance to roleclaim, (since he hasn't yet). I'm just afraid that I won't believe it, and not sure it matters.

ehh, sure
not like he's going to claim anything other than vanilla
and we're not voting for him because of anything he's done role-wise, we're voting because he's acting scummy

I like when players say that...they usually end up dying or going missing the next day. Heh heh

hmm, good point...
If I die I'll let those interested try to figure out what I will say tomorrow by leaving the hint of "voting habits"

I can still vote for him and push him off the edge, so to speak. He HAS been rather suspicious. Shiri gets pretty defensive when he plays mafia roles, and he's been putting that out like some sort of pheromone.
Unknown2009-03-26 22:02:06
If need be I'll put the last vote on Shiri on the grounds of general consensus and it being fairly painful to play with both him and Daganev in one game.
Daganev2009-03-26 22:04:25
Let's put it this way. If Shiri turns out innocent, odds are people will jump on you for doing the ninja lynch. But if you are certain that Shiri is guilty, (like I am), then people will support you and be happy for not making us wait.
Diamondais2009-03-26 22:14:05
Give him a few hours to wake up and respond.

You know the amount of hours it would take for you to be bored to tears waiting for Shiri? Well it's two hours after that.

But in all honestly, I was just wondering when Shiri normally logs in. Trying to figure out what time I should check the thread after I come home from work.

Well that's an easy question let's look at the thread:
It is 6:12 PM my time right now
Shiri was posting from 6:46 pm Yesterday my time to Today, 03:06 AM and then again at 10 'til nine am.
The day before it was 06:37 pm to 4:30 am.
So there was gaps in his posting, but he should be here in about half an hour if he's keeping the same hours today. *is all stalkerish now*
Diamondais2009-03-27 01:43:05
He's here now.
Unknown2009-03-27 01:43:25
Honestly, with so much logic and counter-logic flying around, when I tried to analyse the posts, all I got was a blinding headache. I'm just going to go with my gut feeling, which was right with both Silferras and Jack. Somehow, I don't get any suspicious vibes from Shiri, even though I somewhat understand your points. At the moment, my hunch is on either Solanis or Shamarah, seeing as Solanis did that fooling and joking around, and Shamarah claiming that he got converted, but not what he's converted to, as well as the PMing Casilu thing.
Shiri2009-03-27 02:00:07
Correct, this is about when I wake up. I really have so little to defend myself from. I will even paraphrase Daganev "I'm sick of accusations without actually explaining what the problem is." The ignoring all the parts I already explained is even worse!
My role: vanilla.
Since, again, I have no actual worthwhile accusations other than scum tells which aren't scum tells, scum tells which I didn't do, scum tells which Daganev did and so on to work on, I'll reiterate the game.
Night 0, Daganev flies out of the gates saying we should vote no lynch if it was a day start (but somehow not if it was a night start, his reasoning on this one having already been disproven.) Day 1, I an not PMed a role. Immediately, Jack comes out saying he's a bomb. It sounds like he was lying (I was wrong, but plenty of people agreed with me, except Daganev who was not only desperate to believe he was a townie, but also throwing out the idea he was a jester to make sure we wouldn't lynch him) because he claimed earlier than a town bomb would really want to, so I suggest we test his claim by having the person we think is the joker kill him. Daganev again flips out over this, trying to refute the idea that the joker isn't served by having more abnormals out to distract and or kill the town with. I vote him, but some people just listen to the rhetoric and screw around wildly for a while. Eventually he starts a train on Silferras since she's kind of wishywashy. I'm not particularly bothered, but since Daganev says to go through with my plan (despite earlier claiming it's scummy!) I think it's a good idea and we can always lynch him tomorrow if it turns out Silferras is vanilla and Jack is a bomb (worst case scenario, but worth the risk). Silferras turns out to be an SK, meaning the plan worked out well. Casilu hadn't revealed the crucial part of the rules that would have stopped Silferras doing this yet too. Note that if I was the joker, again, this plan would have been retarded because I would know perfectly well that both Jack and Silferras were abnormals and wouldn't want them out of the way (even though I didn't really commit about Silferras, I definitely did about Jack.) At this point I'm already peering at Solanis for all the weirdness, though at the time I'm more convinced Daganev is it so I don't press it.
Day 2, Shamarah comes out and Casilu finally sorts out the extra abnormal roles thing. Reasoning that Daganev wouldn't have pressured Silferras for the same reason I wouldn't have pressured Jack if I was the joker, I start seriously considering Solanis since he didn't screw around like this last game and it was a pretty inept attention-averting plan this game. Then, making it worse, he abruptly stops the moment it gets him looked at as scum, and says he's not going to think things through and instead follow Daganev's vote, THEN tries to play that off as a joke (notice how Daganev pretends to confuse this with a damned if you do, damned if you don't dilemma and randomly asserts that scum would pretend not to be in one when clearly neither of those things are the case).
At this point I can only conclude that honestly, Daganev is hoping that "if you repeat it enough times it becomes true" will get me out of the way, and that he actually is the scum, since no vanilla would be pressing this hard on something that's clearly not true. I guess I was wrong to take his lynching Silferras as a town sign. His contradiction between what he says, "people who just reiterate information and don't come up with their own theories are scum" <-- actual scum tell, and what he does, "people who come up with their own theories and don't blindly follow mine are scum" <-- not a scum tell, obviously, is important too.
Unvote. Vote: Daganev. Seriously, it's been pretty clear from the start. The sooner we get the joker out of the way the less SKs and mafia and stuff we have to clean up afterwards. If it's not Daganev I'm going back to Solanis though, you just can't ignore that kind of information on the grounds that "he's a newbie", particularly when he actually isn't.
Incidentally, about the Casilu PM, she -did- quote me back, I just delete PMs after I've read them (I did the same thing in the smash bros. game, which turned out annoying, I should probably stop it) except for my role PMs in case I need to paraphrase something for it. I didn't think a "no" would be that hard to remember since I posted it to the thread right after. I tend to run my PM box pretty close to filling up so I like to leave a buffer of like 20 or so and I'm getting near that now. I already reiterated the question anyway, and I would have gotten it from my outbox (which I've never had a cause to use before). Also, people not jumping on Dugan for this = ???. Also Daganev's comment about not being lazy and ninja lynches confusing me, but I'm prepared to accept this one as being faux-legitimate.

As for Shamarah, it's possible, but I'm not sure. We did have to get mod confirmation about the number of roles converted night 0 and no one else has come out about it, not that that's proof of anything.
P.S sorry about my numbering, I inconsistently call the nights night 0 or night 1 since someone else used the term night 0 (which is like "ground floor" and annoying) and threw me off.
