I think that the bias also comes from asking/answering in different contexts. For example, one might run into trouble when rating herself on the statement, "I strive to benefit myself more than others", if she found the two things to be synonymous.
Also, it does make sense that you would get the end you focused on. This is, after all, an examination of your values. It would be as honest as you are, if not for the glaring ambiguities.

Yeah, it's kind of like Philosophy 101 here. It makes your answers biased when you know which one you'll get when you are choosing them.
hee hee I wont ask you to save me from drowning in a puddle of water...of course if I'm drowning in a puddle of water then I have more troubles that you can save me from anyways.

nah, I would save people, but only people that I know and care about. As long as it doesn't require too much effort. XD

Guess so. I'm more of a Nietzschean/Satanist. I thought I'd top 100% for egoism.

I wouldn't be surprised, but then I think most gamers are atheists, but that's personal bias.
As a Hedonist, I'm all about only doing what's fun for me. God does not factor into fun, cuz He says not to do lots of fun things XD

So many interesting people! Feel free to post related quizzes here, I am going to have to dig up something else...
@Rika: High egoism and utilitarianism could derive from the example above in theory. Associating one's own "good" or well-being with that of society, mutual benefit?

Someone explain that one to me, please. Not having read any Kant yet, I don't fully understand his position, and thus I can't quite work out why I scored 35% on him.
Apart from that, I like my other scores and it fits with my reading list as Sartre, Heidegger, Nietzsche, Camus, Dostoyevsky and Kafka are all authors I like

The problem with philosophy is there is so much of it out there and a lot of it is quite heavy going. I only managed Heidegger because I found a book with pictures
Unknown2009-03-24 15:01:59
Well, the god-questions on that test mainly focused around divine revelation. Like for instance, I consider myself a deist but the quiz had no way of reaching that conclusion.
Unknown2009-03-24 15:14:16
I took the quiz but didn't get any of the percentages things, which makes me sad. But I scored Utilitarianism. Had a tie-breaker between what I assume were Utilitarianism, Hedonism, aaand Existentialism, I'd guess.
