K2 is glitch-ridden, and maybe my memory is foggy, but your allies seem much more... retarded in combat than they were in the first game. Add that to mercenaries linking with wild animals and getting stuck in the geometry of a building, and you have me logging in again. : /
I like the story and its characters well enough, though. Less a cinema-themed experience than the first game, more like the gritty chapters that take place between the epic movies.

On the first Xbox?
I forgot that system even hooked up to the internet... do you need an account, or... a special cord?

I need help! I wasn't able to get a copy with the instruction manual, and I am worried the feature I need doesn't exist- since your allies in Kotor 2 have the AI of grapefruit, they charge of into battle when it is clearly time to rereat, get knocked out, and then recover only to be one-shotted. Is there some sort of "withdraw" tactic? Stationary doesn't work, because every time I switch characters the person I was just controlling runs off again, regardless of the tactic I set him to.
It ruins the combat aspect of the game.

Did you try Ranged/Jedi Support/Grenadier?
Personally, I never encountered that problem because charging and beating the crap out of enemies always worked for me

Lol, this game is so easy and yet you're having tactic problems.
Maybe you're not actually changing the AI, see if when they charge again the AI setting changes back to default. You not only need to scroll to it but also apply - on PC with a mouse click, I don't know what you use on xtoy controller.

I worked something out. My comrades still charge in and refuse to disengage, but it was painful then because I was a low level Consular with only a couple abilities in an areas with several enemies clustered together. Not, with 20 Wisdom and a full array of darkside powers I eat people alive. In 24 hour sessions.
Thanks, though.
