Also taking opinions on a day/night start. Tell me what you want! My main motivation for not having a night start is so that people don't get killed right out of the starting gate, but I don't know. You might think that the extra info is worth it?

I'm starting to think there's a reason mafia is traditionally night start after all these annoying day 1 stalls.

You could have a no kill rule for night 0? I think a night start is really the best way to go, otherwise people are just grasping at straws trying to figure out who the scum is the first day. People are also more likely to vote wrong the first day because they have no information to go by (even if you are just a vanilla townie).

Imo night/day start should really depend on the setup. Day start generally favors the town, while night start generally favors the scum; choose accordingly.
