Hrm, looking through the skill-list for Tahtetso and Shofangi, I see that Tahtetso have Smash and Swiftstrike. Do those, as well as hard, affect bashing?

I'd say Shofangi over Tahtetso so you can get max speed weapons easier, if just for bashing.

I forget what smash does. Hard doesn't. Swiftstrike does HOWEVER, I think it was changed to be made redundant with speed or something due to Narsrim...but I may be misremembering that.

And Casilu has a good point, 110s are easier to come by than 220s by a wide margin.

All right then, since both guilds have their pros and cons, I think I'd make alts and find out which guild's flavour I prefer.

Although, since Kephera gives +5 to speed, wouldn't I have to look for just 105s or 215s? Or it doesn't work that way?

215s are still harder to get than 110s. Also, 115 speed is awesome.

Alright, with very basic tests (I kick a rockeater, let it smack me around for a bit, shield and then look at the health differences), I got these results:

Level 3 racial health regen: 166hp.
Max hp is 1997, so that makes for 8.31% rounded off.
Assuming that this regen is linear, one level of regen is 2.77% of max hp.

One body chant: 99hp
Two body chants: 198 hp
Three body chants: 297hp
This means that this is a linear increase. Nice and simple.
Max hp is still 1997, so that's 5.00% rounded off per body chant.

Don't even choose a trade or tertiary. You will already be mowing Ninjakari down by the dozens!

I just realised that if I want to join Shofangi, I'd have to be unenemied to Serenwilde and Moonspirit.

Moonspirit is uggles, but you can probably get someone to keep getting you amnesty till it sticks if you really want. Your Serenwilde fine won't be too high either.

Yeah. Getting amnesty from Albion is tough though, I've tried with mobs that are weaker than her, and I still cannot gain amnesty from them. Its either Moon Maeve or parley. Anyone knows how much to gain a full reprieve would cost? 250k?

Man, appraisement really needs to allow you to ask for parley costs even if you're not enemied.

I'm a kephera psymet tahtetso (with robes of course), and lvl 80, and yet I still died to one of those damned hunters in the Tosha pits...

Then again, I wouldn't even want to try it without being kephera psymet.

Most powerful bashing combination in Lusternia:

Male Kephera Shofangi with Psychometabolism. Why? There is no real difference bashing wise between Shofangi/Tahtetso, but Shofangi get access to Serenwilde's Moon Altar, which in turn grants them the ability to gain Harvest from Covens, which adds a flat 10% experience bonus that stacks directly with Harmony (10%) and Autumn (10%).

As a demigod Tahtetso Kephera with Psychometabolism and using body/body/body mantras (full defenses, truefavor), I could tank -8- linked astral bulls and stay at full health. In fact, I could bash them faster than they could form. I could literally just sit permanently linked to the node killing them as they entered.

Ok, question: Is three body mantras better, or the +5 weapon stats for Akhang more worth it?
