Does that scare you?

I simply want Myrkr to claim. I have information.

On another note... Please dont read the thread and NOT post. Everyone should post, regardless or not if you think you have anything valuable to contribute. ( Wont mention any names, but I've seen this from a few people reading the thread )

It scares me because people are not thinking for themselves. Obviously, you have your reason(s) to vote for Myrkr. You chose not to reveal that reason, but all those five people chose to vote for Myrkr despite having nothing to go on except for the fact that you said so.

At the moment, my scum watch list goes like this:

1. Dugan
His posts are almost always a rephrasing of what other people have said, and lurks quite a bit.

2. Zynna
Very defensive of Shiri, and tried to deflect pressure on to Bali. Has been lurking quite a bit as well.

3. Myrkr
Posting the list, and lurking.

Furien and Llandros are hovering down there for general lurkiness, and for Llandros, his role claim.

I'm not scum. I thought that Shiri was town, but that just makes me wrong, not scummy. I didn't like the way Bali was saying that Shiri was 'obviously' scum, as there was nothing obvious to me about it, and it felt like he just wanted a strong player out of the way.

Now, it turns out he was right about Shiri, which gives me some pause. But, right now the only thing that proves is that Bali and Shiri were not knowingly on the same side. That doesn't mean he's necessarily town, as it seems there are at least two groups as shown by the two deaths on two nights. (There may also be some independent win conditions out there).

I, too, am bothered by everyone actually casting a vote for Mrykr just based on Bali's say so, and I want Bali to state how he came by this information (and also information on the mod clarification he mentioned) before we lynch anyone. I am fine waiting for that until after Mrykr claims, though, because it may be that Bali only knows a part about Mrykr and doesn't want to reveal which part that is, to see if Mrykr's claim lines up. That's the only reason I can think of for revealing you have special information without saying what it is.

Thank you for your list, Caerulo. I think we do need to have independent thought to bring us to a win. I need to generate and post my list with the new information we collect over the weekend and after we get the Bali/Mrykr info. (It's Easter weekend, and I'm with family, so my available time is spotty)

I'm not so sure about that. Sounds like we have the clones, and the imposters. Could be just a special ability and/or someone else's backfired.
Fania2009-04-11 17:33:57
I'm wondering if the same person didn't kill both of them last night. Either that, or Shiri may have passed his powers to two separate people.

two people?

How would that work?

QUOTE (Shiri/Mew Reveal)
Happy-go-lucky and always up for a fun time, you're the mastermind of this game, bringing in your friends to liven up your stolid counterpart's existence on the lonely little island. Maybe you can even teach him not to be so serious all the time~

As the legendary leader of your imposter group, you are able to TRANSFORM at will and school your mind enough to appear innocent to all attempts to breach your privacy (this is an innate ability). Once every night, you can also TAG a target to eliminate them from the game. This power will pass to your compatriots in pretense if you are unmasked.

You may speak to your imposter friends REMOVED via PM at night.

You win when your imposters outnumber the clones.

I think it'd be a little overpowered if more than one person got it. I think it passes from one to the next. Still, to give the scum almost complete immunity to normal investigation...Its like "lulwut"

kiriwe2009-04-11 18:05:54
It looks like the TAG ability gets passed on, not TRANSFORM
Unknown2009-04-11 18:07:02
Oh! Duh!

Phew!

Zynna2009-04-11 18:10:03
Yeah, that's how I read it too: tag passes along, but Mew alone could hide from investigation.
At least I hope that's right!
Unknown2009-04-11 18:33:12
I hope Myrkr posts soon :/
Rika2009-04-11 21:37:53
Let's give her a couple more hours and if she doesn't post, we'll lynch her?
Unknown2009-04-11 21:43:48
Negative.

I dont feel comfortable lynching her until she speaks.

Fania2009-04-11 21:44:32
At least give her 24 hours after the last vote post. I'm almost inclined to give her longer because it's the weekend, and lots of people go away on the weekends.

If anything we can try to vote Jack or Shamarah.

Sandstorm is scummy as HELL. And its really convenient that we dont know either of their alignments.

Wait. I must have missed something. What is this about Jack and Shamarah?
Unknown2009-04-11 21:46:33
We dont know that they are dead.

Look at the front page - it simply says they are "GONE".

I asked Silferras, trying to clarify if they were dead. No response.

I dont like it.
Rika2009-04-11 21:57:28
I think they are dead. Sandstorm just hid their powers from us.
Unknown2009-04-11 22:02:28
I dont like the idea of a nolynch, but we have to know if they are dead or not.

Why would Silf say they are just "Gone" and not dead. There are several logical issues with this. If they really were dead, why would we bother getting to see their rolenames? If sandstorm covers up EVERYTHING, and doesnt tell us if they are dead, their alignment, rolepowers, why would we even see the Pikachu/Venusaur claims? It doesnt make any sense.

Yes, Jack and Shamarah are effectively dead.

Who said anything about a nolynch?
