Hrm, both Tekora and Bali voted for Shiri on their first posts, with a finger-pointy entrance. Right now, it appears that the focus is on the three of them. My opinions on them:

Tekora:
Angery as usual. However, this is a perfect protection for him is he should be scum.

Bali:
Hrm, confuses me quite a bit. Did the same in the Angels mafia. Not quite sure what to make of him.

Shiri:
A little defensive when voted for.

We could lynch Tekora/Bali and investigate the other, and if neither are scum, we lynch Shiri and see if he is scum. However, I do not know if we can afford to spend two lynches on the three of them. This group doesn't seem to definitely have a scum in it, so we could very well waste two lynches.

Edit to above: 'perfect protections for him if he should be scum'

I wasnt in that. You're confusing me with someone else.

How am I confusing you?

Yea, wait, I confused you with Enero. That's how confusing you are.

OK, on a serious note, I still don't understand your later arguments against Shiri. If I understood you properly, you admitted that your point about Shiri asking for the masons to reveal themselves was not entirely accurate. But you still insist that Shiri is scummy. That's the part I don't understand.
Shiri2009-04-07 04:40:11
Whoever brought up that they both did it as their first post has a point too. If you look at it from the perspective of Tekora's claim that Daganev's killing was by someone who wanted to get it out of the way, then point at someone else with that interest, it makes a lot of sense. But Tekora has been coming off as less scummy than Balizar to me overall, so idk, assuming it's coordination this early seems awkward.

I thought he meant Goro. I've been sat here for five minutes puzzling that one out.

Shiri has four arms in real life.

1. My gut is telling me Shiri.
2. Shiri's current posting style reminds me of games when he was scum.
3. Shiri has been extremely defensive to posts directed at him.
4. Shiri implied that there was something wrong with me voting for him even though I said I thought he was scum on multiple occassions.
5. Shiri has OMGUS'd twice.

Thats why I insist.

What I want to know is if you can provide anything to suggest that I'm acting any differently than when I'm town, because it's extremely easy to assert 2) without ever having to prove it or look at counterevidence.

4: What the hell is this? Does that pile of words even mean anything?
5. I have voted people for voting for dubious-sounding reasons twice. Presumably if you were a townie you would be willing to entertain the possibility that since your only stated reason for voting was proven terrible, and yet you stuck to your claim even after that, voting for you would make sense.
Furien2009-04-07 04:54:41
I would also get rather defensive when people vote for me, one should think. Remember that SSBB game? I really did turn out to be the cop. Defensiveness isn't necessarily bad.

Something I've been thinking about.

And if you're pretty sure it's me, then your voting me makes no sense.

How does my voting not make sense when I've stated I think you are scum? My arguement is that it does make sense, and that the above is just confusion babble from the mouth of a scummer.

Anyway. Not gonna get dragged down into long, drawn-out conversation with Shiri trying to squibble his way out with "what-ifs" and "lets target a non-poster". I've made my arguements, and think Shiri is the most viable choice for lynching at the moment.

If you're pretty sure THE MASON is me, which is what you made it sound like. It doesn't seem to make a lot of sense in context if you meant "the scum." And how do you figure you can get away with saying "confusion babble" to cover up your own meaningless sentences?

I'm ok with lynching non-posters, but only when there's no better targets. Right now you're looking pretty damn scummy running in circles and hiding from responses.

I did the same in the Angels game, and I was the doctor. laugh.gif

I never said the mason was you or EVER implied that.

No. I just know your type. You're a relentless squibbler. You will grasp at straws until there are none left. Sure, I could be wrong (usually am) - but until I'm proven so I think you are the best choice for lynch. Running in circles you say? What circles am I running in? Hiding from responses? Pretty sure I've responded to about every post directed at me.

I think I have been pretty clear (if not single-minded) about stating I think you are scum and I think you should be lynched.

Unless you can bring more to the table to convince me you aren't scum, I'm not particularly interested in what you are saying right now, Shiri.

Squibbles is a hamster. I am going to have to assume you mean "nitpicker" here. So what, you don't like me pointing out all the broken details, like the fact your entire premise for voting me was terrible? That's your defence for sticking with it? That it's "nitpicking" to disagree? Hmmmmmm.

You've been responding to the posts, then ignoring the points. For example, you're still randomly asserting I'm acting the same as I do when I'm scum, but then pretending not to hear the request for proof that I'm not acting like I do when I'm town, or Caerulo's and Diamondais' assertions that defensiveness is how they acted as a doctor (fyi I'm not a doctor, but I'm not going to risk a roleclaim unless it's absolutely necessary.) Obviously if you're scum I won't be convincing you that I'm not a scum, so you can just throw that out endlessly. Which is fine, it just means we need to lynch you.

Vote Count!

Shiri (5) - Tekora, Bali, Casilu, Fania, Reiha
Bali (3) - Shiri, Zynna, Shamarah
Reiha (1) - Myrkr
Casilu (1) - Dugan

With 18 alive, it's 10 to lynch!

First post updated with a little ?/20 tag for the alive and dead list, so that more people won't be confused by the numbering!

Ok those links came out uglier than I wanted, sorry. But if you look back, you'll see why it looks like you're stating I was mason...and maybe that's why I was prodding masons to come out so they would lie about it and I'd jump on them? IDK. I can believe that you were tired and not making sense at that point, I do it plenty when I wake up. What's scummy is that you then stuck to it even with that out of the way.
