Not sure what you're referring to - if you're referring to the decision of report 151, the March reports should be decided on soon now that these skillsets are out!
Monks?

Thank you for all this... can you look at Moonwater though and umm spot the functionality of how often it will really remove an affliction vs. how often it will just not do anything at all but drop as a defense because it drops regardless of an affliction cured or not on 3 different forms of sipping...
I am pretty sure those of us who can use it are fine with the once every 20 seconds aspect and one shot use... we would just like to yanno... get that one shot use out of it.

Right now doing that would not be practical, but it would be possible with some rewriting of code.
Another thing to consider with moonwater is it is equally usable against NPCs (the afflicting ones) as players, while the others (except Celest's) require you to hit a player or be hit by one.

I really hope you go back and nerf Avatar Aura. It's ridiculous even by itself because it cures an affliction every 5 seconds. In fact, the Envoy report addressed this, and I think it was missed.
You're free to contact an envoy for this. They can envoy a slowdown in its effect. They can also get envoy consensus to change it.

It was already envoyed.

Report #132 Skillset: Skill: Avatar
Guild: Shofangi Status: Approved Feb 2009
Problem: The Avatar auras, EXALT AURA and EXALT WRATH are overpowering in solo (first) and group (both) combat, particularly because their cost is almost nonexistant for people who bash a lot and because they can stack up to ridiculous levels (4 avatars on a side are putting out something like 3200 passive damage every tick on all order enemies.) This gets worse when orders enemy whoever they want for no reason.
Solution #1: Make wrath work on a universal tick like bard songs. If Sarrasri and Nejii have wrath on, and are fighting Thoros, the game should check if he's a charune enemy, if so do damage, then a maylea enemy, if so do damage unless he was already hit by Charune's wrath, etc.
Solution #2: Because exalt is good against affliction classes in solo too, it might be better to change the effect - something like make it a single-person truefavour for 10 minutes (counts as the god's truefavour, does not stack with existing favours.) Since this effect is already widely available to some people it shouldn't imbalance things to the same extent as it currently does.
Solution #3: Instead of replacing exalt, make it not stack (as per solution 1 for wrath) and also not cure afflictions.

Honestly, the passive curing just needs to go, and that's exactly what was suggested and generally agreed upon by the Envoys. For whatever reason, it just wasn't implemented. I have no idea why, but people generally aren't too excited or thrilled about envoying a repeat of something that wasn't noticed the first time around.
Narsrim2009-04-05 23:28:35
I realize I'm getting off topic, I apologize. I've just wanted to bring this up for a while. I had this huge discussion with multiple envoys about taking an aggressive stance against passive curing because its just beating some classes down, a lot of people agreed, and after it was suggested, it wasn't really appreciated - I feel.

What are Celest's and Mag's special potions?
And this seems really cool; disregarding profitability of trades and combat balance for now, this really looks like it'll help integrate bards in even more...
Now something cool for monks...?

Which is why I stated envoy consensus (envoy makes a post, gets a majority of envoys to sign to it) as a means of doing it so no report is wasted.
We're sidetracking the thread, back to our new skills!

Delete monks.
edit: more constructively, this stuff was being discussed before monks were implemented. It kind of sucks they got left out.

Solanis shared his with us- as far as I could gather, someone guessed there was a numb-like effect in one of them, and Kelysa got one that made her 'aggressive', whatever that means. There was one other, but without ABs we dunno what they do.
(I like the names, though- Klangfest Brew, Dwarven Amber Ale, Olde Orcish)

Oh wait, I got a big question: Does hexangle or pentangle ever decay?
I guess when your symbol decays after 18 days you have to get new runes for it, or if your cosmic lord dies, but if you stick a rune on the symbol and then the hex/pentagles, do they ever fade or do they just stick forever (until the cosmic lord falls).

They last the same amount of time as dwarven runes at the moment, which is around 36 hours.
