You take a drink from a bottle.
The beer has a notable equine flavour--it tastes like horse sweat and you feel like a horse just kicked you in the head. In other words, it is a perfect Olde Orcish brew.

That, friends, is a freaky beer...

Dwarven amber ale : Your pain is deadened by alcohol.
Klangfest Brew: Your aggression is stoked by alcohol.
Olde Orcish: Nothing.
This is what comes up for defenses.

Mint tea!

Maybe instead of spamming perfume people would smell it once when someone comes into the room, maybe even when they leave. Even strong perfume lingers in the air, but after a while you wouldn't be thinking about it every two seconds.
If enchanting time has stayed the same, well I'd like to see it reduced. I don't have any characters who are enchanters, and maybe none that will ever be enchanters, but I still think it takes too long (Forging too). While I do feel bad for enchanters losing some customers, I do think that it's nice that the failing bard archetype will be given a boost from this. I know that the Cantors have been struggling for a while, and it seems like the other bards have had the same problem.

Olde Orcish does nothing fancy, though it does have an extremely high alcohol content...

Perfect for our crazy all-night parties in the Tower...

Dwarf+dwarven amber ale = a whole lot of tankyness

When someone says "Horn? What horn?", does nobody else get the urge to say "Human horn, of course!"?

I've been trying to get some beers and teas out there. Anyone drink any?
Chai ftw.
Narsrim2009-04-05 23:55:48
As it turns out, holy water doesn't protect you bashing, but its still stripped when a denizen hits you. Is that intentional?
Celina2009-04-05 23:57:16
Uh...
Just a first thought, but you guys are really going to have to tone down the benefits of the damage altering drinks. They are pretty insane.

Could Holywater be changed so that you get a message when it drops? It's really difficult to figure out when the defense is consumed at the moment.
There should definitely be a message when it activates and protects you, since I remember that message going in just a few hours ago!
Unknown2009-04-05 23:59:03
Hmm, if you have a watch you should be able to see what time it is underground instead of just getting "you think it is daytime above ground" or "you think it is night time above ground".

My bad. It just gets stripped from denizens without working.

They last the same amount of time as dwarven runes at the moment, which is around 36 hours.
While it may not have sounded like it, I tried to keep a positive view on this. But right now, all I can say is
I want old Enchanting back.

Probably need a brewmeister to answer this.
So, these new brews have weird item types, like:
You carefully study a cooking recipe.
Item: Darkbeer Type: Brews Org: Public
Appearance:
Klangfest Brew
You carefully study a cooking recipe.
Item: Greentea Type: Brews Org: Public
Appearance:
green tea
Are these item types specific to what brewmeisters can do with them?
